The staff and the inn itself are great. I gave it a lower rating o ly because of the building flaws. The room above mine, when the shower was used, cause a huge amount of noise, enough to wake anyone sleeping. Thus is a very bug design flaw in my opinion.

Nice hotel, clean and quiet, only complaint is that there is no hot tub or sauna.

We just left this hotel after two nights. What a gem! Fairfield Inn is my new favorite affordable hotel. We were warmly greeted by Paige Vargo at the front desk. She was super helpful, friendly and efficient. She gave us a great room with a view of Mount Rainer, I had some specific asks and she accommodated everything with a smile.
The hotel is spotless, nicely appointed, with a gym and an indoor pool. A nice buffet breakfast is out every morning, with some variety. Scrambled eggs. Bacon or sausage. A breakfast sandwich. Oatmeal. Cereals. And two waffle stations. Coffee and tea, yogurt, fresh fruit. The breakfast room is open and bright.
When we left today Paige was on duty again and she remembered we were there for a wedding. Asked how it was. We really feel like we were well taken care of. Other staff we met were also friendly - the man who delivered extra pillows said he heard we needed more ammunition for a pillow fight. I felt like they would all help if we had any problems, like they would all be there to help.
We’re fussy people and we have no complaints.
Thanks Paige and staff. I hope we can come back here some day.
Nearby activities: The town of Poulsbo is well worth a visit. It was settled by Vikings from Norway. There are lots of small shops - some you the usual touristy things, and some with original local art. There are also great coffee shops and bakeries. And the waterfront is beautifully filled with sailboats. The people are so warm and friendly!

The hotel itself was immaculate and the grounds were well manicured. The location is perfect for walking to the stores in College Marketplace and a short commute to downtown Poulsbo. The staff are always welcoming and shoutout to Paige for her warm welcome to Poulsbo. My family and I had just moved here not knowing anything about the area, and she gave us some great things to do. Thank you for making our stay a great one!

We ended up staying here unexpectedly. We were on our way to Port Angeles and discovered the Hood Canal bridge was closed. It was already pretty late at night and we were distressed about what to do (as our ETA had jumped from 1 hour to 3 hours). A quick search showed this hotel was minutes away and had rooms available.
I'm glad we ended up staying because it was a great experience! Both women I interacted with at reception were great, both super friendly. The room was conveniently located and comfortable and the continental breakfast was awesome! I was genuinely impressed with the spread; my partner and I split a waffle and a tasty breakfast sandwich.
Considering I booked the room seconds before I walked in the door, the price was reasonable. All in all, great experience born out of a stressful situation.
Rooms: King sized bed was comfy, room had everything we needed.
Food & drinks: Coffee in the rooms was better than I've come to expect from hotels, breakfast buffet had a ton of options and was tasty.

This is my go-to hotel when I am in the area. Not just because the staff is always welcoming, but it's so convenient for take out foods, and a nearby Walmart for all the stuff I forget.
Most recently, Paige was the evening front desk and I want to give her a shout out for being such a sweetheart!

If you are near the area this is the place to stay. Everything from staff to the location to cleanliness. The only thing I would improve is the temperature of the pool, a we bit chilly. Paige was such a pleasant bright person to greet us after our long day. You could tell she just genuinely cared. Breakfast options were amazing and stocked. Thanks for a great experience.
Rooms: Oversized, clean, modern
Nearby activities: Downtown Poulsbo
Food & drinks: Lots of food options nearby

Clean and spacious. I wish it had been closer to downtown Poulsbo but again clean and spacious. We haven't left yet and have some concerns about what they are charging us because AAA quoted me less than they ran my card for, so I might have to edit my review. Hopefully not.
Rooms: Big rooms and very clean.
Food & drinks: There are none. No restaurant but they do have a little free breakfast

Very nice hotel. Good, clean rooms. Loved the window view of beautiful Washington. The shower was so good. Could have stayed in it for an hour. Breakfast was very tasty. Had cereals, hot food, oatmeal with lots of fruits and nuts to enhance it, dried apricots, cranberries, almonds, walnuts, and coconut. Very good and fresh. Staff was very friendly. A nice hotel.
