they will not protect you from fraudulent charges.

Chase mistakenly reversed a utility bill payment. That caused a $25 penalty with the utility. Chase refused to reimburse the $25 charge to compensate for its error.

They I would highly advise using silverdale's branch instead of poulsbo. I think that this place means well but the quality of service is well below Chase standards. And honestly that's saying a whole heck of a lot. They don't do things consistently with other branches, and I see this at some other branches from time to time but this place is a standout as having their own rules. Staff here generally seems to operate on whatever they think the rules are but it's far from consistent. Every time I've had to go in to this branch because some emergency requires that I get to a branch ASAP every last time something's been messed up. I still have to go back in and fix my address and phone number for the umpteenth time with them but of course not with this branch.I needed a pin so I couldn't use the ATM this visit And since their traffic was low and there was nobody waiting in line I thought it would be easy to go in through the drive-thru. Anyways 13 minutes later I deposited my three checks...I think somebody from corporate just simply needs to come in here and fix the place.

No accountability! Damaged a 30-year savings bond . No training or useful information from a lead . Cashier didn't properly process the bond, and now I'm stuck with useless paper . Pick another branch or bank .

I never thought I'd review a bank, but after multiple visits to this branch, I feel compelled to share what a refreshing experience it's always been.I've often gone in after having a hard time getting proper or friendly service over the phone. All of the employees here are so friendly, helpful, and efficient. They're definitely doing something right at this branch!

I made myself a promise that I wasn't going to leave any more 1-star reviews. My criteria is, "Will this help someone?" I think it will. I'm a business banking customer. I applied for a line of credit with Chase. I won't get into details except to say the experience was horrible and prompted me to leave Chase. When I went into the Poulsbo branch to close my accounts, the banker never asked why I was leaving or expressed any sympathy for the poor customer service I received. During the process of closing my accounts she lost my ID and wasted a half hour finding it. Eventually everything was sorted out and I left without so much as a "Thank you for your business."My policy is to balance bad reviews with good ones, so see my review of Umpqua bank.

The bankers are always friendly to me here. I've only had one issue here in the decades that I've been banking at Chase. And it was resolved fairly quickly, but it could have been a really big deal. The teller told me that a very large check would clear in two days. I waited the days and then requested several large payments to be made. Well, the bank did not release the funds in two day, they took a full week. Otherwise, banking at Chase in Poulsbo has been a good experience, even though it is a national chain in the local community. I tested it out just this morning when a friend was not able to wire a large sum of money to someone from his bank. They made him get a cashier's check. And when I wired money from Chase, they had no issue whatsoever. So all in all, it's a good bank. Otherwise, they do what all banks do, which is want you to leave your money in so they can use it.

I had some issues trying to complete a Chase bank transaction online and by phone (multiple transfers, then a hang-up), so I went to the Poulsbo Chase and am so pleased. They were patient, friendly, and so very helpful. Thanks to three people there my problem is solved.

Tellers need more training. When I was asked why I needed to show ID to deposit cash, the lady just said, "I don't know, that's just what we do." Seriously? I worked as a teller at a bank for four years, that kind of answer just makes customers want to punch someone in the face. Also, they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE!! Seriously, I have even tried calling every hour all day once and nobody ever answered. I was trying to get a question answered without having to load up all my kids and go inside. There is nothing special about this bank so it's not worth keeping your money here and they charge for everything.

Amazing customer service. They were able to help me out even thought I'm from out of state and have a very new account with them. I had an issue that even the 1-800 number customer service side would not help me with and these guys helped me in a matter of minutes. I was starting to have second thoughts about opening an account with them but this particular branch changed my mind. Fast and courteous service. Thanks!!!

Our accountant highly recommended Chase and my mom, who is a financial advisor, has been a longtime fan. So after years with USAA and Bank of America we consolidated into Chase, here at the local branch in Poulsbo. We now have multiple personal and business accounts here and the service has been nothing but friendly and professional. And their online banking is also top notch. Extra cool points that they offer free checking accounts to veterans. Today, I just opened a new checking account for our 13-year-old son. Kara, the banker who's helped us several times before, was great and treated him like the real client he was. Love doing business with this local bank.
