Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. At first I thought they were just overwhelmed with taking on all the new patients when Kitsap pharmacy closed and I felt bad for the staff when customers would get impatient with them, but it's been over a year now and their practice is just unacceptable. They are SEVERELY understaffed - I've been the only person in line and still had to wait over 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me beyond brief eye contact. It's impossible to get ahold of them by phone (even when doctors call directly), they're extremely disorganized and always always always late on prescriptions even when you get a text/app notification that they've been filled (I pick up 2-3x/mo), they're known for messing up prescriptions by giving the wrong quantity OR just straight up the wrong medication, either won't notify you/your doctor if there's an issue filling an Rx or will give you/the doctor insufficient/incorrect info as far as the issue, will often tell you they didn't receive a Rx request even though your doctor has verifiably contacted them, etc. I can't tell you how many times I've had to go through withdrawals from medications I've been on for months and need in order to mentally function just because they made a mistake and the prescription lapsed, and I can't even imagine what it's like for others who's immediate health could be critically endangered by this pharmacy's mistakes. CVS corporate seriously needs to do something about this - at the absolute bare minimum they need to hire way more competent staff.

For a second time in 6 months I stopped by CVS to pick up a prescription and was told my doctor didn't call it in. The first time I got all over my doctor for this despite him swearing he had called it in. This time they said the same thing which I knew was incorrect because I was sitting 5 feet from him when he called and left a message on their machine with my details. This pharmacy really needs to get its act together.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH This place takes the cake at wasting everyone's time and CVS as a larger entity makes efforts to push Rx's to the point of undermining insurance coverage. EXAMPLE: Pull up to drive-thru; first and only car 8:40 before any pharmacy interaction Asks name + birthday; confirms pending Rx's 5:20 provides Rx's 15 minutes. This is after sitting in line for 23 minutes the night before and having to pull out to pick up a child on time and leaving empty-handed. I think this is literally the worst drug store in all of Kitsap county.

Excellent CVS and staff. Very responsive and helpful. I don't live in the area, but when I visited the store, I was able to get the supplies I needed. Very clean.

if I could give this cvs location in Poulsbo negative 5 stars I would. I was in town visiting from another state and I needed more blood pressure medicine, and I called this location over the span of several days and was kept on hold FOR OVER AN HOUR each time and they never answered. When I went in to see what the deal was, I heard the phone ringing off the hook and they ignored it saying "we are too busy to answer" when the place was completely dead. They are lazy, seem to take 30 minutes for each customer and several people in line said they are known for med mishaps. They need to get better, trained staff. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Just had to jump on the bandwagon, This CVS is awful. When the app tells you your scripts are "in process", don't believe it. They won't do a thing until you call or go in. This is the case even if your scripts are on auto-fill. Even when you go in, you sometimes have to wait up to 2 hours to get a script filled. This used to be a decent pharmacy, but no more. They are understaffed, unfriendly (and sometimes creepy) and care nothing for their customers. Can't believe CVS Corporate hasn't done anything about this.

Similar what others are saying. Ever since i switched over from Kitsap Pharmacy, they've never had my prescription on time. I even asked for them to auto fill and they still don't do it on time. Its hard to skip days where I don't take my medication and I have had to do so in several instances. It's very unfortunate and incredibly frustrating. I gave them one last chance to redeem themselves but the same exact thing happened as talked about in the previous paragraph. finally decided today I am going to switch over to another pharmacy because they are terrible at getting ahold of as well as communicating to their customers.

The last 4 months this pharmacy has been terrible. I order meds once s month and every time in the last 4 months there has been a problem. Put in my order online, get a reply that order will be ready on a certain date. Go to the pharmacy a day after it was supposed to be ready and they have no record of it. Waited over 40 minutes to get an order that should have been ready. Then pharmacist gives me a lecture on the strength of the dose I am taking which is doctor approved and I have been on for 10 years. Done with them. Moved my prescriptions to Walgreens.

The pharmacy is AWFUL....disorganized, never EVER answer the phone, gave me the wrong RX (and I can't get it corrected unless I drive an hour because they don't answer the phone) my Dr. couldn't get through to them and more. Why doesn't CVS do something about this place?

I have had to use this pharmacy due to our insurance for 2 years now and it has NEVER been a good experience. Awful customer service! Wish I could switch, but I can't unless I want to pay out of pocket ;(

Horrible pharmacy. They bought out Kitsap Pharmacy a few months ago and the service is abysmal. I've been waiting 9 days for a prescription for Omeprazole, 3 days for another and 2 days for another. They don't answer the phone, most (not all) of the staff are rude and unapologetic for their inability to fill a prescription in a day or two (God forbid you need it today) and blame their inability to fill prescriptions on the buyout of Kitsap Pharmacy. I'll be moving my prescriptions anywhere else as soon as I get the scripts I'm waiting for. Don't go here!!!

Another dismal experience today with CVS Pharmacy who bought out Kitsap Pharmacy in February unfortunately. (As an aside, Kitsap Pharmacy would get 5 stars from me (timely refills, friendly staff, knowledgeable and pleasant pharmacists)-everything a pharmacy should be and CVS is not). Once again, we've called in prescriptions for refill - the recording says they will be ready by 2 today. It's 5:30 and only half were filled. And aside from the fact, that this has happened every time in the 2 months since our prescriptions were transferred, on top of the inconvenience, all but one pharmacist has been brusque and defensive. We are done and will be transferring to another pharmacy that has better customer service and is more professional.

Service at this location is terrible. Chronically understaffed. The pharmacy is hard to reach by phone (all automated), and consistently behind in filling prescriptions. No comparison with the (unfortunately closed) Kitsap Pharmacy's great service.
