“While playing tourist i was thrilled to see a Boehms Chocolate in downtown Poulsbo. Of course, we went in! We are familiar with the Issaquah location. This location is a little different. It's presentation, but in a good way. In addition to all the lovely chocolate offerings, they have some cute decor items also for sale Let's get down the important part. The chocolate. The chocolates are delicious doesn't matter the location. Because of all the cute items I ended up browsing the store. I'm looking around some before getting going to chocolate counter. Sadly, I only got one photo of our chocolate. Everyone dove in and started munching before I could get my camera out. One of our favorites is the Arancini. Strips of candied orange peel covered in milk or dark chocolate. Plus it counts as a fruit - right?”

“Unusual assortment of grocery items not found elsewhere. Gluten free beer, CBD seltzer, fish balls, lefse, Swedish caramel cheese, gummy bears, Mosel Riesling, Spanish Jamon iberico!? Wow!”

“Funny how so many remote locations or small towns always have that randomly placed candy shop. Visiting a candy shop wasn't on my itinerary, but it was a welcome coincidence walking into Bon Bon Candies. At the front of the shop, they have a full display of different chocolate and fudge flavors. On each wall of the store, you can find sour candies of all kinds, chocolate covered nuts, and chocolate bars imported from different parts of the world. I walked out of the store buying dark chocolate cashews, rainbow sour strips, and a caramel cashew bar. Nuts and chocolate are an unmatched sweet and savory combo. For the dark chocolate cashews, each mouthful started off with the bitterness and sweetness of the chocolate, ending with a salty crunch from the nuts. I liken the rainbow strips to those of the airheads sour candies, but softer in texture, pleasantly sour, and more delightfully sugary. The caramel cashew bar was quite unique for me. It combined the smoothness of caramel with the creaminess that you get from breaking down the cashew pieces. Honestly, you can't go wrong with many of the selections at Bon Bon Candies. It makes for a great holiday gift!”
