Wonderful customer service! I didn't know the terms used for types of gravel or units of measurement. Dorothy answered all of my questions, helping me to understand in such a friendly way. The delivery came on the day and time window that I requested. The driver Mark went over and above maneuvering that huge truck to dump the drain rock where I wanted it. Mark was also so friendly and personable. I must shout-out to Hillari who answers phones when office folks are out. She was also so friendly. I had laughs with all the employees. Best customer experience I've had in a long, long time. Highly recommended!

This was a great experience from the beginning. The woman who took my order was funny and friendly. They were able to deliver my topsoil the next day. The driver was also very friendly and accommodating. To top it off the soil is just perfect. Also they were $78 cheaper than my next bid. Highly recommend

Going to start of with I’m super ANNOYED with A&L.We ordered 10 yards of CLEAN hog fuel from them, delivered for $297. When they called to confirm the order we made sure to ask one more time “is it clean”? The woman who called reassured us that yes, it was clean hog fuel. We specifically asked for that because it’s going in with our horses. “Yep, it is clean. Nothing extra in it.” Is what we were told.Fast forward to receiving the load (while at work so was unable to refuse the load) and when we saw the hog fuel it was ANYTHING but clean. It is trash quality and literally that, TRASH. We pulled metal pieces, tons and tons of plastic, hard plastic, plastic bags, granola bar wrappers, bamboo roots and pieces, rocks that were huge! Rocks that we moved out that were 10-13” in diameter! The list keeps going.I have always tried to order from them because they’re smaller and local but I’ll stick to Verns from now on. This was dishonest, and just a lie.Attached is a picture of a 20 pound clump of bamboo roots that we had to put in the trash so it didn’t decide to grow on our land. As seasoned hog fuel buyers we know what clean is and this was SO annoying and disappointing.

Pick this place any day compared to Olympic Organics Place is a bit run down dusty gravel road but at least they are honest Be ready to get the car wash after coming back from this place. Fair deal, honest measurement $10/yard dump fee

This is the first year trying their garden mix and my plants love it! I love the way that it holds moisture. The very top thin layer will look dry but just below is the rich moist soil that one can clump and holds its shape in your hand but breaks apart into such a nice texture that spreads so nicely. You will find worms in this nice soil.
