First time using Walt's. Air conditioner pump replacement..
Made reservations for early Friday morning.8 AM was told 3 hrs and $300
dollars..I emphasized time was critical,
As I needed van by 2 PM. Was assured not a problem, as 6 hrs was plenty of time, I called @ 1pm concerned about timing, was told they haven't started yet
They've had vehicle 5 hrs on scheduled appointment. With zero progress..
Piss poor, first time customer service..
With zero contact about delay..
Not a good first impression,
After a conversation, they prioritize my vehicle,and finish the task at hand..
A/C unit is working properly, and I am satisfied with results

This is one of my few unsolicited five star reviews. General Manager Vance Jones runs a superior quality repair facility. On two visits, one for a tricky tire repair, and another for a 100 point periodic checkup, my experience was top quality, with procedures and results clearly explained to me. Prices are entirely reasonable and competitive. I will surely go again as necessary for routine maintenance or special services.

The whole team at Walt’s is absolutely amazing! My old car is my baby and I won’t take her anywhere else! They have such a family feel to them, and they make sure that you feel it every time! Anything my car has ever needed they have been able to take care of and made sure to give me the best price they could. They treat my car like it’s their own and always make sure everything is working in top shape before I leave. They go above and beyond every time! My whole family now takes their cars to Walt’s because of the care and trust we have in them. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Took my car in for air conditioning recharge. Had put a convertor kit on since it was a 92 to take the new freon. For two days they tried to figure out the problem. switched out the convertor parts for new ones blew the system twice finally figured out what it was brought the car back for the third visit for final repair. Was finally fixed. The people were nice but not very informative about the repairs and I thought it was unnecessary to charge that much for the labor and parts. I expected to pay for the repair and reasonable parts prices.

Torch your car first. I spent 10+ hours, had to rent a car twice, and finally take my car to another shop to get the catalytic converters put on correctly. Add to this the owner decided that I needed to have my break system flushed at $37.00 for a bottle break fluid. When I complained they gave me a refund on the break fluid flush (only because he got caught trying to run a scam) and when took the bill from the other shop in for them to make it right he refused saying I should have brought it back to him! He can't get it done twice I'm going to bring it back a third time? The entire ordeal cost me over $5000.00. Never again! Ask around....

Good honest auto repair shop. I had brake pads, rotors, fluid, new tires, plugs and coils replaced. It was easy to schedule and gave a realistic time for completing the service. I would recommend and use it again in the future.

$600+ for a motor mount replacement. Told me that there was a 4th mount that they had to special order and wanted me to come in the next day. The rattle persisted because of the one bad mount. Only to find out that there is no 4th mount and the rattle was because they either never put the bolts into one of the mounts or put them in finger tight and the fell out immediately. Also never replaced the bolts for my air intake. The second star is because they have been honest with me in the past.

I have a BMW with a difficult diagnostics problem. The technicians at Walts Auto were able to find the problem(s) and fix it. As a woman I know that finding a auto shop you can trust is difficult. Everyone at Walts made me feel welcome and kept me up to date at every step so there were no surprises. A huge shout out to Ted and Vance for explaining the work so that I could understand. Honest shop are bust shops and Walts is one of the busiest; .however, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!Services: Exhaust
