Most of the food was 6 months past expired freezer burnt or old holiday food that you can't even make a meal out of. Like they use what ever to fill your cart. Kinda sad especially for as much as I and so many people have donated over the years.

I have had nothing but good experiences with this food bank. Always as helpful as they can be. I appreciate everyone that volunteers and gives up their own time to help total strangers everyday. Thank you South Kitsap Helpline.

South Kitsap Helpline is a non-profit social service agency assisting low-income individuals and families in South Kitsap in better meeting their basic needs. We have served our community with kindess and compassion since 1980. We are primarily a food bank but can assist on a case-by-case issue with other critical needs as they arise. We also offer referrals to other local resources that may be able to assist our clients.
