I am giving this 5 stars because it is very well run and kept up nicely. Owner was putting new furniture in as we were leaving and the furniture already in there was not that bad- for a 2-star hotel. Small gym, large jacuzzi pool, massage chair room with big screen TV, good coffee always available and filtered water- hot or cold.

Don't stay here if you have kids.It seems this hotel is for senior living. Better change this name into senior hotel. The staff needs more training to let the families stay in the 1st floor rather in the 2nd floor.

Quick and courteous check in. The room is excellent with a king size bed and thick comfortable blanket and sheets. Really nice fluffy and firm pillows. Microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge. The shower is stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner pumps. We went to the breakfast room and had the choice of regular or cinnamon waffles (regular or mini size). Scrambled eggs, sausage and bagels were good. There's more there but these were what we had. This is located right off hwy 16 and Sedgwick with DQ, Sherry's and McDonald's right across the street. Great value for your money and a very pleasant stay.

The room itself was clean and nice but it has bed bugs. The rooms clearly have not been updated since the 80s/90s and the wall paper in the bathroom, around the shower especially, are yellowed, starting to peel off, and showing their age. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on in the rooms next to you. The amenities are nice but the computers weren't working and one of the two massage chairs was broken. The breakfast bar has a decent selection and the folks that work here are kind and professional. If not for the bedbugs, this would have been a 4/5 for me but that's a huge issue that cannot be overlooked. Once that is addressed, it's overall a cute hotel that I would recommend.

The bathroom floor had mold. The window had mold. The room was not clean. There was long black hair in the "clean" towels. This place is disgusting. On top of that kids were riding their bikes between cars in the parking lot.

I actually like the Red Lion Inn and their staff so it pains me to write this review. I have been helping a Gulf War Navy Veteran who has had recent issues with homelessness. I have paid for many nights to help my friend out.
The staff knows me and I have always been a respectful client and have spent over $3000 at their property. We have never had wild parties or have been loud or damaged property, etc. However, one day I wanted to extend our stay but was unfortunately detained at work and wasn't able to access my phone and/or the internet to extend my reservation until 2pm that day . During that time, the situation had escalated between the manager and my friend. All that needed to happen was for all involved to rationally solve the problem but that (unfortunately) didn't happen. The new resevation was paid. However, my friend ended up being asked to leave. I was not present and have NEVER been rude or disrespectful to any of the staff. In spite of this..... I was also banned from the property even though I was not present during the conflict and I have ALWAYS paid and been respectful AND I was at work when all of this happenned. I was banned even though I did absolutely NOTHING wrong. I wasnt even there! I paid through Expedia and was unable to get a refund because Expedia has a policy that you cant cancel a reservation within 2 hours of the check in time. Basically, Red Lion got to keep my money and ban me without me even being present or actually doing anything remotely worthy of being banned from their property. GREAT JOB RED LION! !!

We literally swung into the parking lot on an impulse, on Memorial Day weekend, and we're able to get a room for less than a promissory note on our first born. Because of this, I wasn't all that hopeful about what the quality of the rooms would be like, but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and cozy it was, and how it still included the same little thoughtful amenities as places that would be charging significantly more to stay with them, without a reservation, on a holiday weekend. We would definitely come back here, and hopefully when we have more time to enjoy the other perks it has to offer. The only things I would suggest as far as improvements goes, would be maybe provide more towels, and possibly toothpaste and mouthwash. But again, it was an amazing deal for the cost and the environment was very pleasant. The location couldn't be beat. We were surrounded by a corner store/gas station, a restaurant, a McDonald's, and a Dairy Queen. We could see the freeway from our window, and yet it still gave off a nice suburban feel rather than loud and hurried city energy

My family and I have stayed here twice now while visiting family in the area and had a great experience both times.
The rooms were clean, there are lots of amenities for a smaller hotel, and the staff is super accommodating and kind.
Special thanks to Gerry for accommodating my kids and letting them use the hot tub for longer after a long day of driving and getting in later than expected due to an accident on the way.
10/10 would recommend!

My only complaint was the breakfast. First time I had to use a keycard to get in and had all those warnings about not taking food to my room. Traveling alone, I really wanted to grab a bagel, a yogurt, some juice and go to my room.
Safety: The staff was friendly, the room was clean and quiet. I was very comfy and felt safe.
