Dr. Emily Cole (new) and her assistant took great care of my blind and deaf, elderly pug with dual eye infections. Provided detailed estimates for surgery and when we proceeded to go with eyedrops instead was swift in getting us what we needed. Within days my dog went from needing surgery to managed with eyedrops thanks to their kind considerate evaluation. Left feeling cared for, listened to and had a great experience.

Kitsap Veterinary Hospital has taken care of our precious pets for the past 12 yrs. They have been professional and compassionate with their well puppy care and the end of life care. We have always been able to get care during health scares even with short notice. The front office staff, vet assistants and veterinarians are awesome.

The staff was extremely accommodating as my dog does not like other animals. They were friendly and helpful. I am very satisfied with the services I have received.

Great treatment for our dogs here. Friendly staff. Very pricey compared to where we transferred from, but that's just how things are in this region.

I called the office to see what the ballpark was to spay my 50lbs female dog and was told I need an appointment for that information. I know a pre-op appointment is necessary, but i kinda need to know the cost first. I feel this is a greedy way to function. I brought my first pet to them 16 yrs ago. Now i have a new rescue dog and no clue of the current costs. I guess its time to keep my options open. This is very disappointing!

Always a positive experience! They’re so good with my dog who gets incredibly anxious going to the vet. She actually wagged her tail when Dr. Post entered the room. Very different than the usual tail between the legs.

Felt they were trying to sell me a plan which I purchased. All the time my sick kitty was setting there waiting for treatment. Too 5 days to get results. Kept saying vet will call you. I would seek another vet. Bad experience. Go to Willow Tree.

I really do love this vet. They always get my pups an appointment and understand that living on an island I always need to schedule later in the day and sometimes even cancel due to ferries etc. they understand. They take very good care of both my fur babies. Always making sure Olaf is doing the best he can and up to date on everything especially with some issues we wanted to resolve. The first appointment for the puppy went well they made sure she was comfortable and felt safe. They got us set up on pawplans to help with bills and also referred us some insurance companies to look into as well to help with all vet cost! They are great! I recommend this vet and all the staff

TLDR: Canceled appointment on me last minute due to their scheduling error, quoted me severely incorrectly, and made paying me back my deposit a hassle.I made an appointment to get my dog a health certificate for a flight to Hawaii about 2 weeks in advance. Its important to note that I fully communicated what I needed from them both over the phone and via their forms online. Animal travel to Hawaii is very strict and only certain doctors and facilities can issue the proper certificate. They assured me they were able to and I made the appointment on the Thursday before my Sunday flight as the certificate must be near the flight. I confirmed my appointment again over the phone and through text as it got closer. 30 minutes before my appointment, as I was getting ready to leave, they called me and said the doctor they have in wasnt licensed to give the certificates and they werent sure if the doctor the next day was either. They had more than enough time to schedule the correct doctor, they knew exactly what my visit was for, yet they waited until the morning of to cancel on me. This meant I only had the rest of the day Thursday and Friday to get the certificate from elsewhere or my trip would be delayed or canceled and I would be out over a thousand dollars in previous vet visits for this trip. The only upside was they agreed to refund me my deposit (this becomes an issue later). After calling all the vets in my city and surrounding areas and begging for a short notice appointment, I was luckily able to snag one Friday afternoon. Then comes the next surprise from the Kitsap Vet. It turns out the quote they gave me for how much Id be spending was several hundred dollars under the average area amount. The vet I ended up seeing at another clinic told me that he was completely confused by what they told me because that price doesnt fit the local prices whatsoever. The health certificate alone cost more than the entire vet visit quote they gave me, including the new patient fee, certificate, and flea/tick medication. He also seemed very well versed in animal Hawaii travel, so I trusted his word. This screwed up my budgeting for my trip, but I bit the bullet and got my certificate and was set for my trip. At this time I was still waiting for my deposit back from the Kitsap Vet. I could see the pending credit but normally my bank is super quick with refunds. I called my bank and they said it was confirmed by the bank but the vet was holding the funds for some reason. I was told to call back the following Monday if I still hadnt been refunded. On Monday evening I called my bank because the transaction not only hadnt gone through, but was no longer visible in my account. My bank wasnt sure why but the vet canceled and/or withheld the funds and therefore didnt pay me back. My bank filed a merchant dispute and went to them demanding my payment. Miraculously, I was paid back the next morning in full without any pending transaction or anything from their end. Im not sure what caused them to schedule so poorly and not update me until last minute, Im not sure why they quoted me apparently incorrectly, and Im not sure why they didnt pay me back until my bank contacted them. It was a very dissapointing experience that left me worried about my trip and frustrated with their lack of professionalism and reliability. I do not recommend scheduling any appointments here. There's several vets in the area that seem much more reliable.

My elderly dog was in pain over the weekend and my regular vet was unable to tend to her for a week so I called KVH (where I used to go) and they got her in as a emergency visit the same day! Thank you so much for helping my beloved pet feel better ?. Everyone was so attentive to our needs especially when Maya had a anxiety attack,(everyone from the front desk to the technicians and vet) jumped to help her calm down and wait in a quiet area and checked on us often. Very compassionate and caring people at KVH! I won't go anywhere else again for my small animals!!

Moved to area recently and needed a new veterinary office. I am so glad to have found this office. Staff and Dr. Post are very thorough and most importantly my 2 spoiled 4 legged children are comfortable and happy. Highly recommend this veterinary practice
