Took our car in at 10:00. Was told 3-5 hours. We called to check on it at 3:00. Was told they would have someone call us back. It is now 5:56 and no phone call and no car.

We just bought a Honda pilot from Gilchrist in Port Orchard, the process was smooth and easy. Luis was our sales person, we told him what we were looking for and what we wanted to pay, the whole process was wonderful. We had a good experience at Gilchrist.

If I could give negative stars I would, this place is full of idiots in the service department. We took our truck in there about three weeks ago and I told them the issue is the voice assistant keeps randomly going off, which has started happening after the last over the air update. I was ignored by the service advisors for about 15 minutes in the lobby until the manager pointed out how long I'd been standing there. They had my truck for about five hours, and took it on a test drive where they got the error to reproduce for the technician but couldn't figure out why it is happening and they had to escalate the issue to their technical assistance team. At no point did they call me with an update about this, so just before they were about to close I called them asking for any new news and when they might be done. They put me on hold for about 10 minutes and when I got the service advisor I'd worked with that morning he acted totally confused about having my truck and the issue I was describing, he then called me back and told me they had to elevate my issue and they weren't going to hear back from the technical assistance team that day and I'd need to bring the truck back another day. We scheduled another appointment for 3 weeks later, before bringing the truck in we called to see what they were going to do and he told us they were going to check for electrical faults which we told them AGAIN is not the issue this started happening after the last over the air software update. He told us to bring the truck in again, we dropped it off at 8:30 in the morning and didn't hear back at all during the day. We tried to call about 4 o'clock just before they closed. We were put on hold for about 10 minutes again when we finally got through to a service advisor he had no idea what we were talking about so we decided to just drive to the dealership and ask them in person what they had done with the truck. We showed up to the dealership 7 1/2 hours later to realize the truck HADN'T EVEN MOVED FROM WHERE WE PARKED IT THAT MORNING. We asked the service advisor what is going on and we were told that we brought it in 'JUST IN CASE' the technical assistance team needed him to troubleshoot anything additional which they didn't and he still hasn't looked into the over the air update software update at all when we have told him multiple times after that is when this issue started happening. What a giant waste of time, this Gilchrist is clearly the land of misfit toys and have no regard for anyone else's time or money.

In all of my 70 years, I have never come across a more unethical car dealership. Nothing but lies and deception by the both the salesman (Steve), and the sales mgr. One lie after another from both. "We're selling it at our cost." Yeah right. After advertising 3.9% financing with approved credit, they told me, "We don't offer 3.9%". After advertising the sale price, they added "extras costs" once you start to make a deal. Still never explained what a 'Repel' fee is. ($197)Do yourself a favor, avoid this dealer like the plague.

READ BEFORE GOING HERE!!I bought my first truck here when it was grey chevy and 6 years later the transmission went out, im too poor to pay the $8000 to fix it so i decide to trade it in and get a new one! Times have really changed because the cheapest truck on the lot was $35000 and was the exact same year as the truck i just bought and paid for 6 years ago!! and it was even $5000 more than what i paid 6 years ago for the same truck!!! but i was hand cuffed and they knew it so they took full advantage of me, the entire experience still keeps me up at night feeling like they really hosed me!!! i dont know why they have 100 people working there all doing nothing...you'd do better anywhere else than Gilcrest Chevy...Unless your ok with getting dirt for your trade in, over paying for worthless warranties and miss matching tires that dont hold air and when you bring it in to get fixed they want $20...what a joke this place has become!! Not cool Gilcrest!!!

Stephanie Gilcrest, an awful owner of the Gilcrest brothers family and what an awful family she comes from! It was bad enough. We had Gilcrest Chevrolet in Tacoma now they have taken over the Chevrolet dealership in Port Orchard that used to be one of the absolute best with superior customer service! Well, that is now flushed down the toilet! Avoid both dealerships at all costs! horrible service. When you take your car in if they even do the repairs they claim they do put a hidden camera and check. Cars are taken for joy rides when you're in the waiting room thinking your car is getting serviced. I drive farther and go to another Chevrolet dealership. This family is not worth it! Beware, awful dealerships awful family! Bob.

Had no idea they sold the family business. I'm sure with the reputation of Gilchrist they will provide the same quality service and respect to loyal customers.

I made a poor choice 9 months ago by going to this dealership and ordering a factory built vehicle. I was told at that point that the whole process would take 7-9 months. The contact from the dealership was pretty minimal. I heard back about a month after ordering advising me the build was accepted by Chevy. I didn't hear anything for 2 months after, I messaged my sales rep and she told me she left that dealership and gave me the name of someone else to call. I called and spoke with Sue who said she could see my order and that it was still pending being built.Crickets for the next several months until I got an email from Kenny in July saying that they were still waiting allocation for my build and that they were "still on top of it". I emailed Kenny back asking for clarification, they had already said my build was accepted. I had some medical issues pop up around this time but and I never got an email back.Fast forward 2 months and I called and spoke with someone else who said they could see my order but that it wasn't being built yet. He said the order had been changed by Chevy but that it was still there in the system.I called a month later and spoke with Nolan who said he would call me back in 15-30 minutes after he researched the order. 2 hours later I called again and was told Nolan was with a customer and I left a message. I never heard back that day so the next morning I walked into the dealership and spoke with Nolan who eventually told me Chevy had canceled the order.Nolan said my options were to wait and look at the 2023 options (vehicle options are not available yet) or to cancel. I told Nolan that I was very upset with how this whole process worked and that I wanted my deposit back becaus i didnt want to do anything with this dealership. Nolan came back a few minutes later with a business card and told me I would have to come back on Monday to get a refund (this was Saturday morning) I was even more upset when I heard this and raised my voice, another employee walked up and said " you are one of tens of thousands of people" I walked out before he could finish whatever he was about to say. I don't know where he was going with what he was saying but I immediately felt he was trying to minimize the issue.I would not recommend this dealership to anyone as my whole experience was negative.

They have some communication problems, that would mostly be solved by having the same agent follow the same client case the whole way, or put notes in our file for others to see. Everyone we talk to has a different answer, or can't find our prior inquiry. But they are flexible with ways to drop off or pick up after hours, which is critical for us. Most everyone is nice, even in the face of confusion and complaints.

The salesperson Shonda was excellent. She's the reason for 2 starts rather than 1, the service is a 0- we purchased a used Nissan Rogue, and the washer reservoir wouldn't hold fluid. The first time we brought it to Grey the service put on the schedule, we called Shonda and she said bring it in that day. She got service to "look at it" so service quoted labor and parts for a new pump, thought the pump pushed fluid and it worked. The second time we went in with a pump for them to replace, they said it was the wrong part and then the reservoir is broken. Time was continually wasted, and I fixed the reservoir myself by sealing the crack with some silicone. Never replaced the pump- everything works perfectly fine.

I recently took my Chevy Express van to them for a simple reprogramming for the security system once they had it in the shop after after over 2 months of having it in their secure a lot they called me within 20 minutes it was running however they called me to inform me that they ran into another snack that the Cadillac converters were removed in their secure lot that they get me a price to replace the catalytic converter Chevy no longer carries the catalytic converters for that model but they can recommend a muffler shop so that I can pay $1,000 per Cadillac converter that was lost on their property in their custody so therefore you take anything to them for a windshield wiper an oil change a tire rotation and take some any additional time they're not responsible for what happens to your vehicle in their possession now if it's anybody else in the world it's on the person that has possession but not Gray Chevrolet of Port orchard they're above being responsible of any kind,
