Good will has sky rocketed in prices. I rather go to Walmart. There's like no joy in thrift shopping anymore

Prices are becoming more ridiculous as time goes on. Why do you have to charge so much for everything when it's all donated?

If you go about 3 minutes around the corner you can find St. Vincent de Paul’s thrift store, they don’t gouge the community they rely on for free merchandise. Everything is still priced like a true thrift store. They also never seem to have a donation line to sit in. I can’t stand Goodwill anymore, you people are absolutely out of your minds with your pricing. Literal Dollar Tree items that I already own constantly priced for $2.99-$3.99? Get real.

Went to St Vinny’s as it’s our first choice for donation (more of an actual charity than just a corporation pretending like Goodwill) and they were at capacity so we left.
Went to Goodwill next, waited 15 minutes in donation line they unloaded an entire uHaul, then got yelled at by the big bald red faced employee to just stop unloading and leave because they now had too much stuff. WTAF? They should have at least let the people who waited all that time do their drop offs. That or actually used their eyes to see the uhaul was too much stuff and not had us wait the entire time they unloaded! Biggest issue however was this employees attitude! He was super rude and unprofessional.

It's very well organized, and they have a great selection. There are a lot of brand new kitchenware supplies with tags.
What's disheartening is that they literally get all of their merchandise for free, but they charge so much for it. I saw a pair of cargo-style pants for $25. A pair of pants they literally got for free.

Very picky about what they will take and closed early just turned son in law away at 6 when sign said taking donations until 7- good furniture and nice clothes- he drove over and hour to help me out and brought a friend - this is second day he tried- today the guy didn’t even look at anything under the tarp and just said he knew it was wet. I think someone didn’t want to work. My son in law is a big biker dude - so maybe it was about looks. Grrrrr I won’t be using them again! Have lived in this community a long time, both bought and donated to them for YEARS! I’m 74 yo with a hubby with dementia have to count on others and they despite us asking the supervisor if they had the needed staff to take things today ( she assured us they did)the guy took one look at son in law and said he remembered him from night before and wouldn’t even look. A perfect small 3 drawer white dresser and matching
set- no dings no scratches, and several bags of clothes in protective garbage bags that the guy insisted the stuff inside was wet. Done DONE will never buy from or donate to GoodWill again!

Never know what you'll find at Goodwill! Admittedly, this is clean, well organized, and has supper friendly staff! Only downside is the pricing! I've seen new with tags and the tag was cheaper than the goodwill sticker, I've seen dollar store items marked up 300%. I used to go for affordable clothes, now I'm better off at the clearance rack. It's new and doesn't have holes or stains. If you're going to go, shop the tag sales, it's your best bet for a decent price.

Decent items but the most expensive Goodwill I’ve been to. Walked up to the register and realized my pair of pants were $14. Down right ridiculous. Stop. Stealing. From. The. Poor!!!!!!!!
Items are donated “inflation” shouldn’t exist here….

Well I love goodwill! I can’t lie about that! But they are pretty pricey, being that it’s goodwill, I remember when they priced things based on quality rather than the label on the clothing. Which is kind of disheartening. But sometimes we find good toys there and those are usually well priced. I like that they put batteries in most of the toys, so you usually know if the toy works before buying it! They have lots of phone chargers and even sometimes laptop chargers, but I sometimes wonder where the laptops go that the charger came with. People don’t usually give the charger and keep the laptop? That would be odd?
Often the cute women’s shoes are in size 10 or 11.
The employees are generally very kind and I like that about this place.

Very poor customer service! I will no longer donate to this location. Way more hassle than other organizations.

It's too expensive to so called thrift there. I no longer even look at the clothing or shoes. The rest of it is horribly overpriced. Using Google lens to price items, at what people are asking on the net is insane. I watched an ugly Lane chest over the course of two months go from $299, to $129, to $69, and the last was $29 when it finally sold. Turn and burn is the best policy. I'd hate to see what they ship off to other places, or toss in the dumpster because it didn't sell.

Prices have gone up so much. You can purchase brand new items on clearance for the same price they have listed for USED items. No thanks Goodwill.
