Fred Meyer is a pioneer of one-stop shopping, combining a grocery supermarket with a drugstore, clothing, home decor, home improvement, garden, electronics, and more under one roof. Many shop there for groceries almost exclusively, noting the produce is always fresh and restocked, the store is clean, and prices are very competitive. The deli offers fresh salads, sandwiches, and a good selection of meats. The pharmacy is excellent, with cheerful, helpful staff who take time to explain medications. Customer service and positive attitudes are in abundance. However, the store is often packed and aisles can be blocked with restocking or extra merchandise, making it frustrating to navigate. The layout differs from other grocery stores, which can make items hard to find. While significant savings and fuel points are possible, it is better to know your prices. A common complaint is poor cell service and no Wi-Fi, which makes using digital coupons difficult.
I would like to write and let everyone know how Gary in the Floral Department of the Port Orchard Fred Meyer is the best. I only go to him now as he does such a fantastic job in creating floral arrangements for any occasion. Thank you Gary! Victoria Yoder

We shop here for our groceries almost exclusively. Produce is always fresh and restocked several times a day. The store is clean and rarely are they out of a normally stocked item. Prices are very competitive. Deli always has fresh (usually prepackaged) salads, lots of fresh made sandwiches and a good selection of meats.

Feed Meyer is fine. It's just another supermarket.
