This store desperately needs a make-over. It's got so much space that's barely being utilized and aweful inventory control. The wine department has had the same set since 2014 when I was merchandising those exact same products. Seriously, it's just not that hard to have a reasonable selection.
And it's not like it's not a busy store... figure it out.
This store got new carts! They're somehow still terrible. I'm actually impressed.

They have a large section of cold wine and beer. Larger than most places.

This is a sad, outdated grocery store. I only go here when I know Grocery Outlet isn't going to have what I need and I'm too lazy to drive across town to the Fred Meyer. The produce is usually not great & don't even think about buying organic produce there because it's usually a day or two past being any good. Please stop drenching all of your produce in water! So unnecessary. The meat counter seems to be constantly understaffed and weirdly closes at 6pm. For some reason whenever I'm there at any given time of the day the male staff is hovering where I need to be or annoyingly sweeping the aisle I'm in. It's comedic how unaware most of the customers are in regards to blocking entire aisles and walkways.
Despite my complaints, the staff has always been incredibly kind and helpful here. I just wish they would do a major update on this store and start stocking better produce, meat, and health conscious products. This Albertsons is severely lacking in alternative diet options compared to other stores in town.

I don't know what it is about this particular store but, it is greatly neglected. Certainly could be a little cleaner and more presentable. The worst carts of any store. It makes me think with the upcoming merger that they're going to close this store. I only say this because of the shape the store is in.
Safeway Albertsons! Its all the same! It's a Monopoly! They throw up sale signs to try to make you think that you're getting a a great deal but it should be the everyday price. There are definitely better stores to go to with a little longer drive.

General manager of the store is horrible. I went to speak with him about getting more gluten free products and he said, "we have bread" . I told him they didn't have things like gf breadcrumbs, gf chicken tenders, gf cookies. He said, " we have bread". Utterly stupid remarks. He seems incompetent of the job at hand. His store is overpriced and smells disgusting all the way the the store. Enjoy the bread!

This is our 2nd favorite Albertson's/Safeway store in town--and we're hoping it stays Albertson's and not become part of Kroger. But, anyway... We avoided this store during the height of the pandemic because both customers and staff weren't wearing masks. This was during the mask mandates and before the vaccines were released. But all's been forgiven since that time. We don't even wear masks anymore...yet. So, got my latest COVID vaccine at the pharmacy today so I thought it was time to give this store a review. This Alby's has a slightly different and broader selection of items than either Safeway store in town, given the relatively narrow selection that this chain offers anyway. But it's a big clean store with friendly cashiers and pharmacy staff. And it's almost guaranteed--well, mostly guaranteed--that if we can't find an item at Safeway it'll be on the shelf at this Alby's. The produce here is usually great, with some exceptions when it gets later in the week before the new stock is laid out. The meat department's excellent as well. Among the best things about the entire chain is the Just For U program which offers real savings and gasoline rewards points (or you can apply the rewards towards groceries). Just like today: the family-sized box of Cheerios was about $3 cheaper than the smaller giant-sized box, also on sale. What the huh? I don't wait for the answer, I just buy the thing and save money. Just wish their was a wider variety of choice of products on the shelf chainwide. Maybe corporate ownership has decreed that costs prior to the attempted merger. No matter, I continue to maintain that we primarily shop at Albertson's/Safeway because we prefer not to shop at a Kroger store on a regular basis.
