Good romantic weekend spot. You may want to venture out for food and drink.

The resort is by the marina which provides some of the best views, while the resort itself mostly famous by the reflection from the nearby pond; however, that requires a sunny blue sky day with white clouds, or a peaceful night, plus no breeze to keep the water flat.
By the way, the pond smells stinky at the walk bridge - some maintenance needed for public health. And the room is kind of antique, basically lack of power outlet/extension and charging ports -- hopefully adding some power extension is not a big project for such old hotels.

Updated vintage charm, clean and spacious room. Large bathroom with shower and tub. Restaurant. Quiet area - mostly elderly. The marina is mostly for boats - not really for swimming.
There's not much to do in the area, limited dining in the area. The room has no air conditioning, fan only, coffee in the room is not good, and lobby coffea only available from 6-8am.

Our room had stunning views of the bay, with a cozy fireplace and in-room jetted tub. We loved that the resort had a restaurant with breathtaking views, and easy access to the beach. Within a few minutes walk, we were able to go on waterfront or woods trails. We enjoyed kayaking around the bay and seeing a mother and baby seal! We are all swooning over the awesome memories and lovely time we had here.
We highly recommend staying at the Port Ludlow Resort. It's perfectly located between Olympic National Park and Seattle, making it the perfect addition to any PNW trip!

Rooms: very nice sized rooms. Lots of seating area with some comfortable seats. Great bathroom set up with separated shower and a large soaking tub. Only 1 sink, and there are doors next to the tub that don't really seal off the bathroom very well if you are staying with someone else.
Service: really friendly staff! Made the hotel feel very dog friendly and they even had fresh made dog biscuits.
Location: decently close to the water but less views than you'd imagine. Boating area nearby that offers kayaks. Golf course isn't very close even though they are connected.
Parking: not a lot of parking in the main lot and the spots are pretty tight. Fair amount of overflow lot spots.
Amenities: connected restaurant isn't too bad, but few vegan options. No discounts at the golf course which is a bummer. Kayaking in the water nearby on a good day is great.

Wonderful resort in Port Ludlow. Very big rooms and comfy beds. They have a fridge in the room. Dog friendly! Very nice grounds, too.

We recently stayed for two nights at a nightly rate including taxes and fees of $454. King Size bed, with balcony for two including an in-room fireplace (wasn't working) and jetted tub.
It's definitely a 3-star property. They still have the pandemic/security glass covering the lobby counter; feels a bit like one is at a pawn shop or purchasing tickets for the subway.
Upon check in, they also ask patrons to initial a lengthy sheet of disclaimers about not smoking, pets, damages, etc. One doesn't usually get this "we-don't-trust you" stuff at anything above two stars anymore.
This is a wood-frame structure so one will hear patrons above if staying on the lower floor. Overall, the rooms are clean and smell fine but the patio could use a power wash to remove the algae and bird droppings. Around the building/common areas, the doors and woodwork could use a touch up of paint; a bit nicked up and grubby looking.
The bathroom has a tile floor and granite counters but the walk-in shower and tub are plastic. Didn't bug us terribly but at $450 per night, seemed odd. Again, it's 3 stars so don't expect tile or granite throughout. The king bed was comfortable and aside from getting woken up by patrons above, the stay was overall great.
The on-site restaurant, Fireside Grill is expensive ($45 entrees) but the service and food was right on point (fresh fish from Neah Bay!) and the local setting and pathway system around the resort community is just as they describe, terrific and honestly world class.

Rooms not as good value as other Northwest "resorts". To call this place a resort is real stretch. It's really just a small hotel with a dining room.

We anchored in the bay and had breakfast at the inn. It was delicious and the service was fast and courteous. Afterwards we stopped in the marina store for some shopping. The shopkeeper gave us tips on orca viewing. It was a little nice visit!

Very nice getaway. Not alot around it nearby but for getting some quiet space and beautiful scenery, it's great. Can take some beach walks or rent a bike or rent a boat or kayak at the marina. There are some fun towns a short 20 minutes away like Port Townsend I would very much recommend visiting. Very cool historical town.
Nearby activities: Boat and kayak rental. Hikes. Beach walks. Bike rental.

My husband and I have stayed at this resort multiple times, and the prices are always reasonable, especially given the fact that each room has a huge jetted tub and fireplace! The views and scenery are gorgeous even in the winter. It's so peaceful and quiet. The only thing you hear are the birds singing. The service is excellent and I highly recommend this resort!! It's quaint and has the southern charm that will make you feel like you've been transported to The Notebook movie. The only down side is the fact that there aren't many restaurants nearby. There's a Shell, coffee stand and a Mexican restaurant down the road but that's about it. The Firestone at the resort is a great farm to take restaurant but doesn't offer much vegetarian options.
