Unfortunately it seems like they always run this place understaffed.

When they get a prescription instead of calling you because they don’t see an insurance on file they just don’t fill your medicine. Instead of calling you and asking. You would think they would like to have new clients. And they only want to add your primary because there so lazy to add your other insurances. What happened with compassion. It’s funny though because I work with insurances and I know how they work.

The store manager, Jay, needs to get his employees under control... I feel he is too nice and being taken advantage of, at the risk of his employees.

It's always hit or miss but I prefer these guys over the competition for products.

This place has slow customer service. The wait to pick up medications is so long. I try to avoid this place as much as I can.

The old guy up front whose been there for years amazing! The pharmacy... not so much they refused to take my insurance through drive through which they deleted last time i came in as it was old insurance even though it was being renewed the next month, than when it came time today i waited 20 minutes than was about another 20+ minute wait for lobby on top on the time i been sitting in the car with my unpatient toddler. Thanks for nothing today and not getting my medicine, outstanding job.

I have called every single month to check and see if they have enough of my medication. Today after calling my normal Walgreens, they yet again didn’t have enough so like every month I called this one. Today I was told it was against the law to even tell me. He didn’t even look me up to see if I was a patient. He said my doctor was the only one who could call and find out. I am unsure how they think that a doctor is going to spend 10 minutes out a 20 minute appointment to make sure pharmacies have medications for the patients. He said it was for the safety of the staff and patients. Guess what! I am a patient and you are not doing it with my safety in mind.

I went to the checkout and the cashier was busy, so he told me to go to the cosmetics cashier. I went to her and she told me her register wasn't working. I could tell she was lying, so I left. I'm a regular customer, so this is BS. I went to Yokes instead.

I went in today to get a flu shot. I didn't know I needed an appointment. I asked if they take walk-ins and the pharmacy clerk said no. I went home made an appointment on my computer for 8:30pm. I get there check in and the clerk said sorry I don't show that you have an appointment. I explained, I made an appointment. I am senior and not always computer savvy. So, I asked can you take me now....there was literally no customers at that time. I might add he was sweeping when I came in not helping anyone. He said no sorry, we quit taking walk-in's at 6:30pm. He said try again tomorrow. I said, thank you I will go somewhere else. He said OK. I have been using that pharmacy almost 6 years. I won't ever walk through that door again. Lousy customer service in the pharmacy, which is a shame. I should have asked to speak to the pharmacist. But I think he over heard our conversation. I must add that the cashiers are always very nice at the front cash registers.

Went in here very sick with a sinus infection. First of all there was no one in line and they said it will be an hour! I left and went out to the car feeling like my head would explode. After an hour I went back in. Since I owned a pharmacy for 34 years I knew exactly how much this drug cost. The cost was less than $4. She asked me if I knew how much this drug was. I replied I know how much it costs you but I have no idea what you are going to charge me. She happily replied $86 and that is when the hit the fan! Because I didn't have an insurance drug card they thought they could rip me off! After I got finished with my rant to which the pharmacist hid behind the counter. I actually saw him duck. She came back and asked if I would pay $22. I handed her the money and walked out. This is why you go to independent drug stores! The big chains will rip you off. They try to make up for the fact that insurance companies pay practically nothing for the prescription to the pharmacy. So they stick it to the ones who don't have a drug card. Last time I ever went back to a Walgreens!

What happened to the customer service at this pharmacy?? It literally has went to CRAP! I recently switched to Rite Aid, the service is nite and day! Even though this Walgreens is a 2 minute drive from my house I will drive 15 minutes away to Rite Aid for better service. Hey management at Walgreens West Pasco?? Train your pharmacy staff! They suck!

Seems this location has problems with doing transfers of pharmacies. Called on Saturday to start the process of switching from Walmart to this Walgreens location. Told it would only take 2 hours. Called 3 hours after that and was told nothing was received yet and to try back later. Called the next day and nothing, so did the same process of transferring again with another person over the phone. Again nothing. Called today and yet again nothing showing anything was processed. Decided to call Walmart back and they looked up my account and told me they have not received any transfer request from any pharmacy. Thankfully there's a new locally owned pharmacy one Street over from Walgreens. Here's hoping they are better since they are local/small business.
