Reposting this review since it keeps getting buried. It started out as what should’ve been an easy valve cover job (to fix a small leak).I was quoted over the phone by a service advisor by the name of Chris, that it would be about a 2hr job for somewhere around $350. I scheduled it two weeks out so they could get the parts. They ended up having the car for over a week because they “didn’t have the parts to finish it” and I never got a call saying it was done. They “forgot to call”.It ended up costing $762.17, that’s a far cry off from what I was quoted. The best part is, a couple weeks later the engine locked up. *Spoiler alert* it was sealant all throughout the engine. After getting blown off a couple of times, I was able to get in touch with the service manager, Brian. No offer of help was given until I came back with photos of what was found in the engine.... chunks of the sealant from the valve cover “job” throughout the oil and engine (see photos). Then, Brian brought in another person by the name of Troy, who assured me that there’s no way a bunch of pieces of sealant floating around in the oil could have caused this. They offered a “Sweet Heart of a deal” (Their words, not mine), to fix the car, that they had destroyed. From the work I’ve seen, I’d have to be insane to let them touch the car again, and also rich so I can keep throwing them cash.I’m astonished that there isn’t a [Class Action] against them. I’ve had my Subaru for about 8 years and I never would have guessed it would have ended like this. They owe me for the $762.17 that they originally charged me, a tow to get the car off the highway, (because that’s where it died with no warning) and the cost of another brand new engine. Forget having to buy another car to use while my Subaru sat for almost a year. As it sits now, I’m out 24k.If you’ve made it this far, please keep going through reviews... there is a ton more feedback like this, from what I’ve seen. It’s honestly criminal what they’ve been getting away with.

I was looking at possibly getting a new Subaru last weekend. I called ahead to see what the potential prices for a lease might be, and they were able to give me a vague idea of the lowest possible prices on the spot. I liked these numbers, so I decided to come by. Once inside, Mikhaela came and helped me out. She was great. Very knowledgeable and informative while also not being pushy. We test drove multiple cars, and she asked good questions and open-ended questions to help me narrow down the vehicle that would best suit my needs. She also helped advocate for me in the finance stage to help me get a good estimate before they even ran a hard check on my credit. Mikhaela was great. If I don't get to work with her for my next car, then I hope my next sales rep is as good as she was.

I had a really great experience at McCurley Subaru! Sam was great! The only negative was it took a long time to get into F&I to seal the deal. More efficiency there would have been great!

As a first-time car buyer, I expected to feel overwhelmed and a bit intimidated going into a dealership, but that was definitely not the case at McCurley! Everyone was very friendly and patient with all my naive questions and concerns, and I felt like my voice, and my husband’s, was heard. Sam in sales did a great job of explaining all of the safety and luxury features of my new Forester, and I’ll definitely be back to McCurley for all of my service and maintenance needs! Thank y’all so much!

I wanted to give huge shout-out to Rachel in the service department. She demonstrated exceptional customer service while demonstrating efficiency and concern for time constraints. She does all of this while also getting to know her clients. This is a very rare thing in the field of customer service and I hope McCurley Subaru understands her true value. Thank you again Rachel for your hard work.

My last experience and purchase with McCurley went great so I returned to purchase my newest vehicle and again my experience was a great one. Omar was my sales consultant and his customer service was top tier. Jacob handled my closing and his professionalism is exceptional! Thank you McCurley and Team for making my experience first class.

Called to get a quote to replace the blower motor in my car. Was given a quote of $353.00Brought my forester in to have the blower motor replaced. I told them when I dropped it off what needed to be done. Left the dealership and received a call less than 5 minutes later. They said the blower motor needs to be replaced and wanted my OK to do it. I said yes that's what I brought in for. Received another call an hour later saying my brake pads were getting close to needing replaced. I asked if it was the front or the rear that needed to be replaced. I was told the front brakes and given a quote of $366 I gave them the ok to replace them. When I picked up the car the bill was $1031. I asked them why it so much. I was expecting it to be around $750.00. I was told they replaced both the front and rear brakes. On top of that. They charged me a $160 diagnostic fee to determine the blower motor needed to replaced. As I said earlier in the review they called me with in 5 minutes of me leaving to tell me that the blower motor needed to be replaced. So not only did they do work I did not authorize but they charged an additional $160 for less than 5 minutes to diagnosis a problem I already told them to replace.I run my own courier business and drive 80,000 miles a year. So I buy a new or very low milage car every 3 to 4 years like clock work. Safe to say I will not be buying my next car from them and have made other arrangements to have service done elsewhere.

We bought a 2020 Subaru Outback as soon as it came into the dealership. We also bought the Gold + bumper to bumper warranty, because we were told it covered everything from bumper to bumper. Apparently not. I ran over something laying in the road and popped a tire. I did not expect the tires to be warranted, so I called McCurley for an estimate. Was given the estimate and told them i needed to confirm with my husband. I called back 10 minutes later to order the tires and was told that I had to speak to the same person who quoted me the tires, who was now out to lunch. Left my name and number, seven months later and I am still waiting for them to call me back. Now, my windshield cracked from the inside in a freak happening. I googled why and found out Subaru had windshield issues in the past. I called the dealership, and after ten days of waiting for a return call, i finally got it. Was told to bring the car in they would cover the cost under warranty. Once i got there, I was told that it was not a warranty issue and it was also not covered under the Gold+ bumper to bumper warranty. But for $1400, they would replace it for me. I told the service manager that their service sucked, and he said "I know, nothing I can do about it." Well, I can, I can give my business elsewhere.

After researching cars we decided the Limited Outback would fit our needs. Had talked to Mikheala in sales and discussed model, color etc. Found her to be clear and honest on expectations. As always buying a car takes time to process paperwork but the sales and finance group worked quickly through the process. As a team they were pleasant to deal with. This is the second Subaru purchased from Mccurley Subaru.

The staff were consistently friendly and professional. I really like my car and appreciate the maintenance services, although sometimes the service can be extremely slow (over 4 hours for an oil change with an appointment). But they provide a nice waiting area and offer bikes. Overall, I have no regrets about purchasing my car from this dealership in 2019.However, my negative experiences are from the insurances/coverages I bought alongside the car, such as gap insurance, tire and wheel coverage, and dent repair coverage. I understand that it’s unreasonable to go through all the details about these insurances on the day of purchase, but the only details we actually talked about are inaccurate. For example, “We will replace all 4 tires if you drive over a nail" on the day of purchase versus “We will only replace the tires if they are unrepairable" on the day I tried to use the tire coverage. Another example, “We will fully refund the gap insurance once your loan amount fell below the car's market value" versus “We will partially refund based on the time you had the gap insurance”. Another one, “We will repair any dents on your car” when buying versus “We don’t cover the ones on the windshield” when trying to use the coverage. It might just be the person on that day, not the dealership. However, if you also rely on the salesperson's explanations and don't meticulously review contracts line by line, please be cautious and prepared to decline multiple times in order to avoid purchasing unnecessary insurances/coverages.

Awesome company that made my mother and I feel like family. Sef did an amazing job going over the forester explaining everything simply and informative. Rebecca was very welcoming and explained the paperwork with ease. 10/10 highly recommended.
