No wonder these guys have filed for bankruptcy already with their policy they have in place making it impossible for people to rent cars with them. Leaving them screwed with no rental.

This review is long overdue. However, I want to let the world know that Yaquelinne Lopez went ABOVE and BEYOND for me. I traveled back to the US to deal with a family emergency. I booked a rental car through PRICELINE but when I got to the rental counter at the TRICITIES airport, I was told there were no car. What? "BUT I have a confirmation number. SORRY." So, I went to the next car counter to be told it would be 500 dollars for a one day rental. I then went to the Hertz counter and Yaquelinne went ABOVE and beyond to help me out. I got a one day rental to SeaTac for less than 200 dollars and my car was ready within an hour. So from now on, it is Hertz and Dollar all the way! Thank you Hertz TRICITIES!

If I could put 0 stars I would. Nobody was in the front everyone was in the back room talking. Waited for a couple minutes and nobody came out which I know they saw me so I went on my phone while I waited… a lady came out did not say absolutely anything and as soon as I noticed her I told her that my insurance set up a rental for me. She did not even look at the computer all she said with a very serious and rude face was that they didn’t have any cars available until Thursday… 3 days later when my car would already be fixed. This place seriously needs better customer service because employees seem like they hate being there

Inventory is severely lacking, not even Teslas which are so easy to get nowadays. This should be addressed because this location gets a lot of business travelers and it’s a rather affluent area. National has the best selection at PSC

Excellent, courteous service. The desk inside the terminal was staffed with knowledgeable people. The car was what I wanted, the final bill was exactly as quoted. I was very happy this Hertz location made a long trip easier.

This Hertz, at the time of my writing, has 25 reviews; 24 of these reviews are given 1 star, with the 25th review being 5 stars. I scratch my head, but then realize that more people than not will take the time to make a bad review of a this type of business if they feel they've been screwed. The last review is almost 2 years old as well.I've been renting vehicles through Hertz for many years, but I have always booked and paid ahead for my rentals via AAA membership. Maybe this has something to do with never having a crappy experience, except maybe a longer wait time once in awhile. I have rented vehicles in Temecula, CA; Buffalo, NY; Knoxville, TN; and Kona, HI. I have always received what I ordered, with a couple times getting a free vehicle upgrade. I have never had any monetary add-ons needing contested. The vehicles have always been clean, inside and out. This Hertz was no exception. The pick up and drop off went without a hitch. If anything "negative" was had it was the young lady I interacted with at the time of pick up didn't have much of a personality, but I wasn't there to make friends anyhow.With everything having gone smoothly I will be the 2nd person to give this beat upon Hertz the 5 star rating.

Unbelievably unprofessional. They should just close this location down until they are able to keep it open regularly and not leave signs like this to greet customers when they arrive. I arrived at midnight to this sign. I can assure you no one attempted to call me. The last communication I had was 48 hours before arriving reminding me of my confirmed rental. I am a Gold Rewards Plus member (not worth anything obviously). I was extremely lucky to secure a last minute rental with the amazing people at National. Otherwise I would have been in a very bad spot.

Very friendly and helpful staff, really great customer service. its nice that they are finally again fully staffed since the pandemic started. Seen a big positive change at this location.

Previous reviews left me weary to rent from here but after calling and speaking with the New Manager I decided to get a rental from them Thursday (4/19) and I can't even begin to tell you how amazing my overall experience was. The customer service representative working the counter was polite and professional and the Manager was helpful in resolving any issues that arose. They got me the car I needed (which was spotless clean) and at a fair price. After the experience I had , I decided to extend my rental through to next week when my car gets out of the shop.Thank you Hertz/Dollar Team for such a wonderful experience!

Arrived at 2:10 pm on a Sunday. 4 people ahead of me to rent a vehicle. One staff member working. This staff member was more concerned of the appearance of the logos on his sports jersey, toque and mask (all support 49ers) than he cared for the customers time. Average time from Hello to receiving the keys for the rental car was 25 minutes! Clearly this individual requires additional training to be efficient at his job. I was given a filthy vehicle and told that they're. It currently cleaning cars. The exterior and interior are filthy- barely see through the windows from the dirt on the inside! There are 10 other vehicles in the assigned rental spots and when I asked if I could trade he filthy vehicle for a different one, I was sternly told "No, there is nothing else available." This is my first poor experience with Avis. Not sure if I will give them a chance for another opportunity.

Hertz is incredibly unreliable and downright dishonest. I purchased one of their rental cars. It was only a year old, so I took them at their word that the high miles were just because it had been a rental. I later discovered it'd had 4 owners prior, and had been in an accident. Live and learn, I should have verified their story. I'll not only never purchase or rent from Hertz, but I'd caution anyone to look elsewhere and do your research. The car itself was reliable and a good vehicle for my family, however the resale value was lowered drastically due to it's Carfax, which came as a surprise. Hertz made a fool of me and considerably overcharged me for the car, and my own honesty was called into question, because I told the new buyer what I myself was told by Hertz employees.

One word. Unreliable. When renting a car out of town reliability is the most important aspect. I got a call 24 hours before my rental to say that they were closing early and would not be able to honor my 7pm pick up. Of course, my entire (work) trip depended on a car rental so I’m left frustrated and scrambled. Luckily I was able to book with another company. The biggest reason for my frustration is when I arrived at 7pm the next day Hertz was open. They did not give me a courtesy call to tell me they could accommodate me after all. I will never book nor will I recommend hertz to anyone friends or colleagues because of this frustration. Huge disappointment and lack of repeat customer appreciation.

Not Happy AAA set up my trip but Hertz won't rent to you without a Major credit card. Cash & Debit cards are no good.You lost my business Hertz.HERTZ DON'T IT.

Horrible customer service. Drive over an hour after the online reservation completed just to be told no and they denied us to be able to speak to a supervisor and told us we needed to leave... Treated us absolutely horribly. My family and I will NEVER be back to Hertz...
