I rented a car from SEA airport, after 30 days they cancelled my contract sent me an email and took full payment. I have tried over 20 times in the last few days to contact them however have been unsuccessful. The national customer service were also no help whatsoever and transferred me over 6 times to different representatives who couldn’t give me a Straight answer. I still have the car but am unsure if I can still drive it. I have paid for 2 months and have my reservation so I don’t see why not but I would like to at least understand why they have sent me an email saying they can’t renew my contract. I have used Avis several times over the last year and am very disappointed with the level of support.

The service was amazing. David was there to help us through the process and he recommended a couple of places to visit. As new people coming to richland, he really made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend!

Not likely to recommend unless you want be charged an extra fee knowing over the phone they tell you there wouldn't be a fee.

SURPRISE! ICE-covered Pasco and returning to the COUNTER 60 minutes late and there is no GRACE period for 60 minutes due to weather? And then the "fine print" says that a charge of 3/4 of the Daily Rate is charged? I should have kept it out for another 24 hours!Be very CAREFUL of Avis' "fine print" -- or you might be charged more than you bargained for!

The rental car had little to no oil in it. I found this out after we had driven 2 hours and the dash indicated “low oil.” I then call customer service, who told me they will transfer my call to road side assistance, only to be hung up on. Then I call back and that representative treated me so rude and was no help. I ended up buying 2 quarts of oil and doing the job the rental company is supposed to do.

If the guy in the morning can be bothered to get out of his chair he might serve you but don’t be a few minutes early because they won’t serve you even 4 minutes earlier than your appointment. Oh well at least they do their job correctly… oh wait I was given the wrong parking space number and it was clear on the other side of the spaces lot. Also we used Avis so we didn’t have to use a credit card and could use our debit. We got a truck. Apparently if you read the bottom of the confirmation email it says please have the debit card or credit card present at the time of appointment. Ok no problem. Then we arrived and we were told we couldn’t get a truck without a credit card. It allows you to prepay online with a debit then tells you to bring it with you. Then I realized that at the bottom of the email there is a link that says “Our credit/debit card policy” click on that and buried under some legal junk it says debit cards cannot be used for certain vehicles. Why can’t they say that up front when you book with a debit card? Or rather than put a link at the bottom put it in bold writing in the actual email. Unless you click on the link, the wording of the email says that you can use both at any time. And the link only looks like you are going to view some of the disclaimers and legal disclosures on their website. If you are required to have a credit card to pick up the truck then don’t let your customers reserve it and pay for it with a debit. At lease before they submit the transaction put up a warning that you will need a credit card upon picking it on up.

I travel frequently in the USA and Mexico. My last four rentals have been with Avis. The rental at the PSC airport was spot-on. Great customer service, clean vehicle, and nice facilities. Upon check-in I realized that a last minute flight change had me arriving a couple of hours before my scheduled reservation. It was no problem and I was immediately accommodated with a great vehicle. Great overall experience.

The guy who helped me was not very polite and when I was paying for my rental he told me the breakdown but not the total of the rental then told me the total and said but my card got declined. He told me the total after he ran my card and said since it was a debit he couldn’t run it again without a credit card which I had already told him I didn’t have. When I asked to make an exception because he ran it before he told me the total and if he had told me before I would have given him a different card. He said he told me the amounts of each option and their website had the deposit info so I should have known without him giving me an overall total. I asked for a supervisor and he said there was not one there today and even if there was he would have told me the same thing since he enforces the policy. I had to have my boyfriend drive to the airport and put the rental in his name so we can go on our trip which was now delayed since the guy didn’t want to do anything because he said it was a policy. I would have cancelled all together if my kids weren’t excited to go on the trip. It was the most horrible experience and customer service.

Excellent customer service! The rental process was extremely easy and quick. The representative had the keys ready and I was on the road within minutes. Great experience.

Needed to help a friend with a last minute one way rental and Ciara at Avis saved the trip! Every other rental company was booked, but Ciara found a car and worked through computer issues with us to get a car! She was great, patient and professional! Definitely will come to see her in the future when we need to rent a car!Thank you Ciara!!!

Car we received was filthy inside and smelled. Windshield washer did not work, even after filling with water. Had to vacuum the car out and use Fabreeze several times in order to take the car for our trip. Very disappointing.

I went with my friend to the tri-city to return her rental that she was supposed to return to Spokane. Due to the fire, she couldn't get to Spokane and was obligated to go there. Everything went worry free and she was happy.

The only kiosk in the airport that will accept debit cards as a form of payment - but they’ll run a credit check on you (didn’t get counted as a hard hit, but STILL). You will have a $200 hold on top of the rental itself.Upgraded to a diff. vehicle and they made the change for me. The new vehicle I was given wound up having the check engine light on so I hard to turn back and get it exchanged but they made it easy.Cody at the front desk was super kind the entire time, that man needs a raise.
