“This place is real busy and the lines get long. When I first saw it busy, I thought something was happening and I missed the news. On a busy day, yes, it looks like people are gassing up and heading for the hìlls! LOL

“Best-priced gas pretty much anywhere, but unfortunately they have some of the ghettoest customers. Too often while filling up, your ears are assaulted by all the inconsiderate punks, between their loudass systems rattling everything nearby, or them peeling out of the parking lot with their noisyass oversized tailpipes. Try to go during "off hours" to avoid dealing with the riffraff.”

The cashier's are all usually fairly nice & their gas prices too!..It gets a little hectic & pretty busy at the worlds regular "to & from" work hours. So if u gotta go inside, the line time can be a longer then what u think it'd be...BUT!..It's awesome that the tire air-up machine has always been in working condition every time I've went to use it!..???”
“Stopped by Costco around 7:30pm for a quick return. Parking was a bit more manageable than usual, but it still required some patience. There was no line at the return counter, and the process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff handled it quickly and professionally. Overall, a solid experience but nothing outstanding, but definitely efficient.

“This is often the cheapest cash price gas station in the area and pretty conveniently located. They have a lot of pumps and I've never seen a line unlike a couple other stations that often have very similar low prices.
When I have paid cash, the employees have been nice. I do wish there was a little store, as Arco stations have really good coffee setups.”

“The five stars are literally only for the price of the gas as this is one of the cheapest in Tacoma. It is also at the end of Portland avenue just off the I5 and across from the Emerald Queen casino. Other than all of Hosmer, this is one of the worst parts of town. Good news is it's pure crack-head entertainment while you wait for the slow pumps to fill your tank. Lock your door while you pump!”
“Fred Meyer Gas is a small, no-frills setup with just a basic convenience booth instead of a full store. There’s an air machine available, but it’ll cost you $3, which feels a bit steep. It’s functional and quick if you’re just looking to fill up, but don’t expect much beyond the basics.

“Easy place to fill up. Plus they have a very good add-on injector cleaner you can add for basicly the same price you would have to pay at any store to get a bottle but you dint have to deal with walking inside and then having to fiddle with a bottle. Just push the button and add it.”
“I go here often and I always get really great customer service. Never had a problem, except you do have to pay .50 if your purchase is under $12 with a debit/credit card.”

“I had an engine light come on and stated my exhaust gas recirculation valve was malfunctioning because of being dirty...I used the premium gas and after a couple days the engine light went off...when I fill up my car I look for the nearest Shell station on gas buddy”
“I like going to the Fred Meyer gas center because it has hoses that will reach the opposite side of your vehicle. This moves more vehicles through the area in a shorter amount of time. It's this type of thought that makes Fred Meyer the best.”
“Great service. Great staff. I came in for an oil change. They did not have my filter on hand , but they got in no time flat and got me back on the road. The lead technician, Tom, was very professional and made sure the job was completed quickly and accurately. Price was great, too.”

“One of the better places in area if not the best. Never had an issue with the store. The gas prices are usually the best around.Do not use the AIR pump, waste of money and you lose more air then it pumps.Has become my local gas stop. Unlike other neighboring stations. People don't sit outside asking for gas and money here. And if they did, they don't stay.While the deli type food is hit or miss, the store has a nice selection of items that make any road trip more enjoyable.The area isn't the best, but this store actually tries verses their sister locations.”

“This place reminded me of a truck stop because of how large it is. The convenience store is attached to a Shell gas station on the corner of Meridian and 200th St. in Graham. We stopped here at 8am on a weekday and they had fresh hot foods including: Various croissant and English muffin breakfast sandwiches, jalapeño and cheese corndogs, Coopers chicken nuggets, chimichangas and much more. I purchased some Coopers chicken nuggets, a regular corndog, a 3 meat English muffin breakfast sandwich and a sausage English muffin breakfast sandwich. The chicken nuggets were freshly fried. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Their chicken has a bit more pepper than other fried chicken. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious. Soft and cheesy. Much better value and flavor than the same breakfast sandwich from McDonald's. I'd pass on the corndog. It wasn't as fresh as the other items so the cornmeal was a little tough. The hot food is not self serve. The male employee at the cash register helped to bag our food and check us out. There was only 1 cashier and this place is popular so a line started forming. It was really spacious and there is plenty of parking on all sides of the building.”

I've been a loyal Safeway customer for years, and one of the biggest reasons I stick with you is the fuel points program. But since moving to Tacoma, I’ve noticed that none of the Safeway gas pumps here allow customers to redeem their points at the pump—you have to go inside and ask the cashier. It’s inconvenient, especially when other locations I’ve lived in, like Bellevue and Bothell, have fully functioning systems that let you redeem points directly at the pump.
This might seem like a small issue, but it adds up—and it feels like another example of how Tacoma, a lower-income and more diverse city, is often overlooked when it comes to basic upkeep and customer experience. Why is this acceptable here, but not in wealthier, whiter neighborhoods?
It’s not a good look. I’m asking Safeway to address this directly and bring Tacoma locations up to the same standard. Tacoma deserves better.”

“Updating review. Customer Services reached out almost immediately and offered a coupon for another wash. I was also unaware of their policy that you can go through again if the car wasn't cleaned the first time. I will say that I've been through other washes with similar dirt and bird droppings, and only had to go through once. But aside from the hassle of having to go through multiple times, at least they do let you go through until the car is clean.”

“Gas is usually less expensive here. The food mart is large with a greater variety of foods than a typical gas station. The whole area (outside at the pump and in the food mart) is VERY clean, including the bathrooms. The car wash does a great job.”

“A good place to wash your car and tidy up the interior. Several car wash options are available, and even the basic package is usually sufficient. There are several self-service areas with free vacuum cleaners and trash cans, and you can also get cleaning fluid to wash the car by hand and a clean damp cloth to clean the interior or wipe off any stains that the car wash didn't remove. The prices are good, I use this car wash.”
