A Great Stay to visit the White Pass and the area around. The room was very comfortable and cozy as well. The staff was very polite and friendly with us!

I booked a unit, with a kitchen, in September so I could hike in Rainier with friends. It was a great place to stay - my room was quiet, comfortable, clean & had everything I needed to cook/heat up my meals. The owners were gracious & very helpful. The drive to/from the Park was relatively short. The place was perfect for my trip.

Trying get a booking in! Wild land fire crew needed to rest our heads for a few nights for rest and recover before going back to the fire line. Lady in front was rude and didn't not want to take company card. Made us feel like we were criminals and it was around 9:30 in the night. Any fire crew or incident command and overhead staying in packwood in future fires in the area avoid coming here. They will treat fire fighters like criminals!!!!

They will treat fire fighters like criminals. They closed at 10 and we were there couple min before they closed. This lady did not try to work things out with us.

What a delightful find! Spent 3 nights there over Labor Day weekend and couldn't have been more pleased. Clean rooms, beautifully furnished, and best owners ever! Good old-fashioned customer service at its finest.Nearby activities: Within walking distance of annual Flea Market, restaurants and grocery store.

Docking 2 stars due to cleanliness & functionality. The floor in the room needed to be badly mopped. The bathroom was very small and the functionality behind it was terrible. I am about 5’6” and the shower head was only to my nose. I had to lean to the side and lean back to wash my hair. There is also no space on the ledges of the bath tub to put your leg up to shave, I had to open the shower door and awkwardly put my foot on there to shave. There’s also little room for toiletries in the shower as well and only one person can really be in the bathroom at a time because it’s so small. I think there are probably better places to stay in Packwood. Also, I was in the main hotel area, not a cabin.

Straight forward, cozy sleeping place before going around Mount Rainier for adventure the next day. Free coffee in the morning. Near restaurants and gas station.

Immaculate Room #14. Wonderful little woodsy lodge. Gracious host. The yard has cute adornments to make ot very homey. Love it.

Very cozy and immaculately clean. Helpful tips from staff on where to get dinner at a late hour. Stayed in one of the smaller rooms facing the street. You can hear the truck noise, but that is the same for most hotels. However the trucks seemed to stop going by fairly early so I was able to sleep very soundly. The location to Packwood seems perfect, in that the lodge is just outside of town all by itself so less noise (other than the afore-mentioned trucks), but places in town are still within easy walking distance.

Clean and well situated, I loved the landscaping and flowers. Staff was very kind and easy to work with. They were so communicative when we were running late to check in. Excellent experience!

The room was nice sized, but most importantly, clean. We were only here for 2 nights, but they cleaned the room after the first night and replaced the towels. Perfect place to stay while visiting Mt Rainer.If you are here for the summer of '23, be aware that the Steven's Creek gate into Mt Rainer National Park is closed M-F for the summer. You will have to go to the Nisqually Gate to enter the park.If we get back up this way again, we would stay here again for sure.

Cozy room "cabin" that we stayed in for a night. Nicely furnished for our taste and impeccably clean and reasonable cost. It was quiet and nice to park close to the room. The lady at the front desk at check-in was pleasant and it's nice to support a small business that's doing a good job.

We have stayed here twice. The rooms are pleasant and small, but we didn't need much. Never used the shower. But no issues with the sink or toilet. We only stayed in the 1 bed small rooms, but if we ever where going to be in the area for longer we would probably still come to this place as long as we could secure one of the larger units if we needed it. Something about this place is quaint and cute and cozy but I can't put my finger on it exactly.

They canceled my reservation for no reason. They called me frantically, a day and a half before my reservation to let me know they had to cancel everyones reservations because of the fire and smoke. There were neither. I still went to the same town and had absolutely no issues. In fact, I called the day I went into the town and a lady said they had reservations open. I am not sure if they canceled mine as I was only going for one night but I was going to that town because I was traveling for a wedding as I am a wedding vendor and had no choice but to still show up. Incredibly unprofessional of this place and will not plan to stay here. When I called other hotels right down the street, I had asked if they were canceling their reservations for fire and smoke and both places were very confused and said everything was fine in that town.

Great place to stay. We stayed in room 7 (cabin behind main building). The room was huge and had a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfy and the room smelled clean when we arrived. The offer boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, snack cakes plus water and coffee for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!!
