We were camping nearby and stopped here in a bit of a panic due to 5 month old mini aussie getting out of her harness. The gal there was so sweet and understanding and worked to get us into something more suitable. She and her darling Corgi were wonderful! Thank you!

I wasn't a huge fan of the squeaker toys. The swimsuits did not have a back, just a front.

Great store. We loved visiting Mazzi the stores Bernese Mtn dog. Great location to wash your pup after a long day on the beach. Lots of treats and toys for dogs and cats.

We were looking for a gift for our cousin who loves her shih tzu dog and is very selective regarding what she gets for her pet. The sales associate was very helpful. We were the only customers in the store, so she kindly explained to us all the different types of treats and snacks that were the best fit for Willow. She asked us questions about the dog to offer us the best options regarding ingredients, size and health concerns. We also got a few magnets. Our experience here was great.

My family spent last weekend at Seabrook and We had a bad time in the pet store. We had planned on doing most of our Christmas shopping in Seabrook. The toy store was good, another little gift shop also good.Walking into the pet store the clerk said that my son would need a mask. I politely told her that he was medically unable and exempt. The state mandate does allow for this. She went on about keeping everyone safe and that we would have to leave. I couldn't argue or protest further, my son doesn't know he has sensory processing disorder and I'm not about to say it in front of him and label him. Medical discrimination. We left the store politely and gave up on shopping entirely. We then left Seabrook for good. My family has spent many weekends renting homes in Seabrook for years. No more. You can have your fake beach town with your fake shop and fake people.

Without any warning a rude older clerk slammed the shop door on my 6 year old grandson's face. The clerk shouted in a louder than necessary voice that they had reached their maximum capacity of 5 people. My grandson was embarrassed and began to cry so we left the shop. This clerk needs lessons in proper etiquette and people skills. She is a perfect example of a BULL in a China shop... she shouldn't be employed in a pet shop.

Unfortunately, we will not shop here again. Like others have noted in other reviews, the customer service here can be tactless and rude. We’ve spent hundreds here and was looking to spend more today. Arms full of merchandise, my wife was masked and observing social distancing while she waited patiently for a family making a purchase to get checked out. After the clerk checked them out she excused herself to help a man still shopping. My wife placed her items on the counter and waited. And waited.I was on the other side of the store while our dog met another cute little dog. When the man and the clerk finally approached the counter the clerk said to my wife that she was going to take care of his purchase first! This encouraged the man to push into my wife’s space abandoning any social distancing etiquette. Mind you, my wife was not asked she was dismissed with a curt disdain like she didn’t matter as long as the clerk could keep eagerly talking to this man. Was she pushed aside because she was a smaller Asian woman? We’ll never know.My wife stepped aside and I went over to her. She was upset and wanted to abandon the purchase completely. We left the store and I went back in the at least let the lady know why we not completing the purchase and why we would never shop there again. Perhaps predictably, she was full of excuses saying in essence that my waiting wife was secondary to the man she was helping to complete a selection.Soured by this experience, we left Seabrook skipping our usual snack and/or lunch when we visit. Because of this clerk, the other businesses lost out, too.As I noted before, others have had bad customer experiences here. Thing is, people go to Seabrook for the experience not for this clerk that evidently lacks basic manners let alone forcing an interaction that flouted social distancing protocols. We can get pet merchandise anywhere so now that the experience of being there is ruined, there is no reason to return.Like others, I am sure this review will trigger a defensive and patronizing response that takes no ownership.

On July 29th me and a couple friends stopped at the Salty Dog because I forgotten to bring doggy bags for my dog. We had left the rest of our family at home so it was just us three adults. I gladly spent $60 on dog bags, treats and a cute toy for my pup to enjoy. 2 days later, July 1st, we took a trip back to Seabrook to show the family around. I was so excited to take my dog and family into the salty dog and let my kids pick out some more treats for her but we were greeted by such rudeness. I have two young children. The first thing said to us before we even fully walked in was that our children need to be masked. My children are too young to be masked. She also commented that my youngest need to leave because he had a drink. He had gotten a smoothie from the market early. He had finished it but didn’t want to throw away his cup. She argued that it was still full. It was not. There was white around the inside from it having whip cream in it early. I felt so unwelcome there. We all, my family and the two other families that walked in at the same time, left. This was the was the only bad service I had received in the Seabrook community.

Great shop! My dog Echo loves it. They have all of her favorite balls and she loves the treats made in Portland.

Awkward experience unfortunately...our family of 12 was vacationing at Seabrook...decided to explore the few accessible shops before a fun and family oriented experience at a restaurant up the block...my nephew noticed a "Dogman" plush he really loved in the window...we wanted to pick up a doggy treat for our own Husky also....the limit was 6...in our hometown and around Seabrook , " No Masks" required if vaccinated and lovely people overseeing the pool and maintaining the property. We had 4 family members enter...I popped in and was told I could come in...I stepped out waiting for my nephew to grab his mask....upon entering the the individual in charge pushed the door in our faces and said the limit was reached...incredibly odd experience...had a similar experience at another shop...
