I purchased a pack of replacement weed eater blades that didn’t fit the weed eater I was using as o suspected they might not… J &I wasn’t open yet… I asked the manager about the return policy of the blades didn’t fit and all he said was… we have a thirty day return option for you, with a receipt, if they don’t fit, you are welcome to return them for a full refund. They didn’t fit so I tried to return them and was refused the refund because I was not willing to provide my personal information. The cashier told me that they have to keep track of people who do frequent refunds….. meaning shoplifters…I asked for a manager and she said the same thing …. No phone number, no refund… what a pathetic representation of a business… their policies are written to deter theft??? Well… guess what… consumers who are honest are not on that category and when a manager tells me something, the company should stand behind what he said!! I hope it was worth the 10.00 item because I have lived on Lacey for over 60 years and literally know tens of thousands of people…. I WILL NEVER SO MUCH AS drove through their parking lot again….YOUR lack of understanding of true customer service is reprehensible…

This review is in response to the recent choice by Tractor Supply, the company, to back out of all their commitments to fight climate change, support the LGBTQ community, and back minorities through their DEI initiatives.
If you are with me, and the majority of Americans, in thinking that this company is out of line on this choice, then this review is for you.
I am going to try to keep this review cordial, despite the fact that I am feeling less than polite right now. I also want to make it clear that I always found the staff at this store to be nice, and helpful. This review is not about the store.
I have shopped at the Lacey Tractor Supply store, and at Tractor Supply in general, for more than three years. My family used to buy hundreds of dollars worth of supplies per month for our farmstead, where we have three dogs, seven goats, and a dozen chickens. We also used to use PetVet for our dogs veterinary visits, which was very convenient.
Sadly, my family is going to have to stop shopping at this store, and at Tractor Supply in general, due to their decision to back out of all their commitments to fight climate change, support the LGBTQ community, and support minorities through their DEI initiatives.
We plan to never buy anything at Tractor Supply again, and we have already found a new veterinarian, who is actually more affordable than PetVet.
In the interest of being constructive, I am going to help people out and provide some links to other businesses that you can support instead of Tractor Supply, especially in the Lacey area. I have not vetted all of these super carefully to make sure that they are not evil, but at least they are not Tractor Supply.
1) CoastalCountry, Lacey, 5500 Martin Way E Lacey, WA 98516 . These guys are near the Lacey location of Tractor Supply, and they are great. They have all the stuff you need. I called them to source a new supply of goat chow, and they called me back twice as they researched it. They are great people. A bonus, their stuff is often cheaper than what Tractor Supply carries.
2) Eastside Urban Farm & Garden Center, 2326 4th Ave E, Olympia, WA 98506. This is a classic local business run by hippies who love to help. Their stuff is not cheap, but they are the place to go for things that are hard to find. For example, I recently needed pumice, and they had it.
3) Tenino Veterinary Clinic LLC, 398 McClellan St S, Tenino, WA 98589. This is the veterinarian we switched to. They do full annual visits for about $150 per dog, plus the cost of the shots, which is cheaper than PetVet. They are pretty far from Lacey, but they are great. A nice local business that needs our support.
4) Kiperts Korner Feed, 8439 Old Hwy 99 SE, Olympia, WA 98501. This is a good one for people more to the south of Lacey. This is close to a clone of Tractor Supply in terms of what they have, but they are a local business. Their prices are higher than some bigger stores, but at least they are not evil.
Thank you for reading. If you are with me and you are sick of companies bailing on the kinds of initiatives that help our world, our country, and our local community, then stop shopping at this store and go some place else.

Company recently removed all diversity programs. I won't shop there or send business there as long as they don't support inclusivity.

This place is a joke. Went to buy 1 chick. Was told over the phone it was not a problem! Get there and they tell me I have to buy them in 4s. And the little miss know it all as I am walking out the door,( having REFUSED to buy from them) had to just chime in" NO one is gonna just sell you one chicken! I told her yes they will online. It is more inconvenient for me, as I have to wait longer! But this is why your store is empty and no one comes to support your local business!!!

Drove an hour out of my way to come to get a collar for my dog that they said was available. Nobody wanted to help us when I asked for the location was they sent me to the location and then nobody ever showed up wasted 45 minutes in the store waiting for help and still went and shopped on Amazon Amazon. Because Customer Service sucks

I'm not sure his name was Jimmy but maybe I didn't see his name tag correctly. H commented to me that he was surprised that the 5lb propane take cost more than the 20lb propane take.
I told him that it was because it was a specialty item and I would lock it to the back of my boondocking rig for cooking on a cross country trip as stayed off grid in remote locations.
"Jimmy" was a huge help to me and even helped a coworker with a technical issue by connecting his hand held and printing a receipt for another customer. Keep on eye on "Jimmy' he has potential.

This store broke my heart today, I was floundering over the cost of dog food, couldn't find the size bag I could afford, I even asked if they had a broken one at a discount, a store member was trying desperately to find me a comparable size and type of dog food for my senior dog. Another customer overheard us and my frustrations, and paid for my dogs food. To that gentleman... You sir are a blessing from God and I will pay it forward as soon as I can. Thank you!!! To the store... Your staff is amazing, God Bless you all!!!!!
