Looks like a beautiful property. However they took 6 weeks to respond to my initial inquiry and in that time I had already contracted at a different venue. I get waiting a week or so, but 6 weeks is insane

Very cool venue with lots of options. Hoped to use it for daughter's reception dinner. Unfortunately the director, Sheri Waltermeyer, refuses to return a phone message or respond to an email. Did the website reservation request, no response. Did the tour, was told she'd get back to me in a couple days. Nope. Left a message 3 days later, no response. An email 2 days after that, nothing. Another phone message 2 more days later, zilch. Another email 3 days after that, she cannot be bothered. Gave her two more days, now I left this review. I suggest you find someone who values your patronage, she doesn't seem to care.

I have enjoyed many art, culture and heritage events at The Lord Mansion and am grateful for the Evergreen State College purchasing and preserving the history of this location.

Were there for a memorial. They have a smaller venue call the Coach House where we were first then moved to the main building where we had light refreshments which were really good. It's a nice place in a neighborhood setting close to the capital.

The grounds are beautiful, and the offered amenities are making this our first choice for our wedding reception! GREAT staff who are able to offer suggestions and plenty of assistance! We are looking forward to coming back!

We held our wedding here back in October and I'll recommend it to anyone who asks. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the mansion itself is gorgeous.

Went here 2 weeks ago for a network event hosted by the thurston county chamber of commerce. Beautiful building on the outside. Didn't get to see much of the inside.

I had my wedding there a couple weeks ago and couldn't have asked for a better venue. The venue coordinator, Sherri was absolutely amazing. She had great communication, was super flexible and made sure our day was perfect. I couldn't recommend her and the venue enough. The price beat anywhere else for all the amenities you received. Our guests were raving about the day. Thank you for such an amazing day!!!

The C.J. Lord Mansion was built in 1923 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. It is owned by The Evergreen State College. Check it out!
