Steamboat Trading Post is a friendly and welcoming place located off the first exit in Steamboat. It is a neat, rustic corner gas station and store that offers a variety of items such as gasoline, munchies, newspapers, smokes, and other consumables. The staff, including employees like Amanda, are known for being good people who are always friendly, happy, and caring. Customers appreciate the good customer service and the familiarity with regulars, with some noting that employees recognize faces and preferences. The gas prices are reasonable, especially considering the station's convenient location off the freeway, and are often more affordable than other stations nearby. The store is well-maintained, and the employees work hard, making the experience pleasant. Some customers mention minor issues like pricing discrepancies and the layout of the pumps, but overall, the atmosphere is positive. The staff's friendliness and the rustic, clean environment make Steamboat Trading Post a preferred stop for gas, smokes, and quick shopping needs.

I am disappointed that the tribe has decided to install a HUGE billboard at the exit. The size is completely obnoxious.

Quick and friendly service. Not much of a line. Gas prices are on the low end.
