These Folks are incredible at what they do. Sarah at the front desk negotiated on my behalf with my service warranty company to get them to over the amount I was owed on my vehicle. When they pushed back Sarah kept them accountable and worked hard to ensure that I was taken care of. Sarah explained everything about my car to as simply as possible, and was patient as she answered all of my questions. She truly is a professional. She even gave me all the paperwork needed to take my car directly to Audi for a recall.Don took me into the shop to show me exactly what was wrong and where the leak was coming from. He explained that the problems with my car are very common and how they develop. He knew that my car had a common issue with the timing chain, and inspected t to find that indeed, my tensioner was all the way out. I was weeks or months from catastrophic engine failure before he took a look at my timing chain. He also was able to save me even more money on the valve body by getting rid of fluid build up in the wires. Don truly knew my engine and transmission inside out, and educated me on common issues with these engines. If you have a Volkswagen or Audi, and it has an FSI, TFSI OR TSI engine you gotta come here. They will take care of you and can save you tons of money. I'll be bringing all of my vehicles here from now on. They are voted #1 in the south sound for two years in a row now. That has to count for something!Again. Than you thank you thank you to Don, Sarah, and the rest of the team here. Such wonderful professional human beings.

Just got another oil change from Pete's shop and they remain a very honest mechanic shop with reasonable prices. I've been taking my car to them since I bought my car new in 2005. Pete and his mechanics don't hunt for or make up problems, unlike many others (like Meineke) and when you get an oil change there the mechanics go over the whole car, including brakes. I highly recommend this shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

After Towing my Jaguar home from this facility, I noticed that the power shut off in the trunk had been messed with while troubleshooting. This mechanism is in the negative ground cable to the battery. It was very secured when my car was delivered to pete lee Automotive. It was not put back together properly, the cable was loose where it connected to the body and other grounds were very loose in the same area.A piece of trim behind L.R tail light is missing,it would be nice to get that back.Update 9/23..MY CAR IS NOW RUNNING.. it was a fuel problem. pete Lee's Automotive was a waste of time and money.

I have never encountered a more honest or customer service focus mechanic in my life.This place diagnosed my car for 3 hours, and then insisted on not charging me so that I could maybe see if I wouldn't have a problem anymore if they had fixed it by doing some of the good old-fashioned wire jiggling.It's not that they didn't have the part, they did, but they were trying to save me thousands of dollars of repairs. In the end, it didn't work and they did the repair required quickly and masterfully, but the fact that they were willing to go out of their way in order to try to save me money when they thought they could, speaks volumes.The mechanic took the time to stand there with me for 20 minutes and explain what he was doing, his thought process, his prior experience, and generally just make sure I was comfortable. Fantastic.I heard a lot about this place before I came, and I can guarantee you I won't take my car anywhere else.

I really wish I had the chance to get an appointment with them before the fire in late 2020. I had an appointment booked with them for the day after a fire from next-door ended up causing damage to their building. I learned about Pete Lea's when I inquired about a reliable mechanic in Olympia from the community on the Olympia subreddit. That said, because I know that they're honest and trustworthy people, I will be booking my next tuneup on my Toyota when Pete and Company open back up, either at the new location or once the current location is repaired. I really hope they stay in downtown Olympia.

Pete Lea's is the shop to call in Olympia if you need any type of work done on your German car. They have always done the necessary work quickly and truthfully. I totally appreciate the fact that when I walk in knowing what needs to be fixed they are super respectful and don't try to tack on a bunch of unnecessary items. I trust them completely when it comes to bringing my car to them. My many thanks to the entire staff for taking such good care of our vehicles. We will keep coming back!

Took my 2013 Mini Cooper S to Pete's on a recommendation from another Mini owner. They treated my Mini like a little baby and got her all fixed up for me. Great service and so friendly. I highly recommend this shop for any Mini!!

I have a 2000 VW Jetta TDI that had a problem with the oil pump that my regular mechanic was not able to fix. These guys got it done right away, no problems since. Excellent and prompt service, very professional and knowledgeable, HIGHLY recommend if you have a foreign diesel car. This is the place to go.

I love driving a VW because every town I live in has a great aftermarket shop ran by smart capable humans. Pete Lea's shop and crew are awesome. Never a hassle, fair prices, informative, knowledgeable, and a 10% discount, when paying with cash money. Even my dentist only offers 5%. I love these people. And I popped in for a check engine light at 9am and the part was ordered and replaced by 1 pm. The lady at the command desk knows how to roll. (Sorry, I'm not recalling your name. But you're amazing ❤️)
