Staff are so kind. They were helpful with my membership, i have had no hassle with refunds, they are eager to help and helped me carry my groceries to the car when i was unable to which made them a star in my book. So happy they are in this city. I am trying to buy a house in their neighborhood and then i can go there more often. What would make them the very best is if they were an exclusive vegan co-op. Imagine that. It is so rare and they would be cutting edge and get so much business. Society is making the switch to veganism. It is the only diet that helps the environment (climate change, habitat loss, pollution etc), animal welfare, feeds more of the world and reaps health benefits. It is the kindest most compassionate diet without question. Go vegan!

Love the Westside Garden Center. You can find almost anything you need to raise a healthy garden. Most of the staff are quite knowledgeable and if they don't know something they seem to know who to point you to so you can find out. Lots of options in terms of organic soil amendments and natural ways to control pests and weeds. The Garden Center is one of the first places to have onion starts available in the spring and their prices are competitive around town. They have seed racks on the walls of the small outbuilding that have so many different varieties. Definitely worth checking them out. During the spring they are constantly getting new things in all the time, so stop by to see what's new. Its not a big space but it is a wonderful space. Get in to the Westside. Grab a kombucha inside the store and come out to the Garden Center.

A quaint, beautiful space next to the Olympia Food Coop's West side grocery store. Located across the parking lot and behind the Coop administrative house. It can easy be a one stop shop for most of your gardening needs. High quality starts and pricing on many items including ornamental plants is equal or lower than big box stores. Canning and chicken feed supplies, local organic fertilizers, and wide variety of organic seeds including cover crops and seed potato and garlic. They also have a selection of high quality tools you can't find anywhere else in townI've found the staff and volunteers to be an eclectic mix of knowledge and quickly folks.
