This pet center is wonderful. Fast, responsive, responsible; communication is excellent, and when one of our dogs had a health issue during a stay they called to check on her the following week! Our pups come home happy (and fresh smelling, because we use their doggie spa services).

Our go to place to leave our YorkshireTerrier and Bichon Frise fur family. They get to play with dogs of same size and we bring their food from home. They cater to our dog's eating schedule, grooming when they stayed there, and allowed to stay together in their designated kennel when we leave them for out of town trips. The staff are courteous and professional. The pet care center also gives military discount. We saw horses and cats on their property too. It is a convenient drive from Lacey, about 15 minutes when you exit from I-5 Marvin Rd towards Yelm/Nisqually. Glad we found this pet care center when we moved to WA.

We left our two puppies over the Thanksgiving holiday. They were well taken care of. They even went out and picked up a med that we were short. I feel very comfortable leaving our pets with them

Fantastic stay for my dogs. They kept us in the loop about what was going on with them. I know they were in good hands because they didn’t have stress diarrhea which we’ve experienced in the past. They accommodated my dogs needs. I like that it doesn’t smell terrible and I don’t hear dogs barking incessantly. They all seem happy. I was also pleased to see that there were workers monitoring the dogs during play and cleaning up after them fairly quickly. Staff seemed nice and I will use them for boarding in the future.

My two huskies spent a day at doggie daycare and had a great time. They are a very busy place, but always take the time to handle my pups and be patient with them. I appreciate the staff and the great care they provide.

We have boarded our two cats with them twice, once was for almost 3 weeks while we moved. I think the pricing is very reasonable and the care is great! They even emailed us while they had our cats to let us know about a minor issue with one of our cats, which we appreciated. It wasn't serious enough for a phone call, but we did appreciate being told. I love this place and will always call them when we need our fur babies taken care of. Highly recommend!

They gave great care for our dog. This was her 1st boarding, they took thorough notes about her and gave us a clear summary of her visit. I belive it was a good experience for her and we know she is safe and well cared for.

Overpriced. And RUDE!!My dogs shots are always up to date. It has never been a problem before. To turn away a long time customer at the door is RUDE. customer service has gone downhill since you started asking for tips at checkout.

Best Place to Board your Dogs!The biggest problem with this place is that your dog won't want to come back! When I went to pick up my buddy, he said hello to me and then tried to return to the back!They offer an "al la carte" option for their boarding and grooming that lets you customize the experience based on what you want them to do and what you're willing to pay.They have plenty of treats and love to give the dogs and it's noticeable based on how happy the dogs are.

We absolutely love the staff and facilities at Northwind. Our Poppy came back happy and well adjusted, which reflects the great care she received while on vacation. We can't wait to use them again for our petcare needs.

My dog gets very excited to be dropped off for boarding. The staff remember him and they are on the ball! Great place. Clean. Organized. Great communication about his stay. I don’t feel stressed dropping him off at all as I know he’s in excellent hands.
