I've been going to h and r on cooper point for the past 4 years and every year there always been a problem from how they did our taxes to mis inputting correct SSN on our taxes which caused a delayed to get our refund ....we chalk it up to mistakes happen but this year we made a appointment with the same branch as we always do and when we get there the receptionist tell us we are not booked at there office but the in one of the other offices is Renton....wth I live in Olympia and they booked us is Renton. They did nothing to make anything right and with this last mess up I am to assume they just don't want out businesses so yes we are going to another branch just not h and r block ...thank you for making things complicated

They don’t answer their phones….Call back to back … wait and call back and no answer during business hours…..Also charge for finding everything for max refund… been going for a couple years always the same thing they find for return.. not like they find additional money from year previous… so they aren’t really finding me the max when its the same thing year after year and they charge more and more each year.. but they don’t find any ADDITIONAL from years previous so i personally don’t think they should charge you for that when all they basically doing is cutting and pasting from the previous year and that doesn’t justify the ADDITIONAL FEE!! Im sure im not the only one who feels that is a ripoff!!!!!!!!

I have a serious tax phobia,haven't filed in 5 yrs. I went to H&R Block after necessity dictated. I met Don McCormack who made me feel so much at ease. His gentle,confident, non judgemental acceptance and professional attitude made the process painless,quick and smooth,I am so grateful. I do,indeed,recommend this man and the business.

Had an appointment and went through our taxes on March 20th. After our hour plus meeting, our tax professional only needed to correct some mileage we originally had wrong numbers for, we had completed all other fields required to file our taxes, but our appointment time was over. We have called 6 different times and left messages. We finally got ahold of someone over a week ago and they promised we would be made priority after “forgetting us” and still haven’t heard a single word!! The exact same thing happened to us last year. After 10 years of doing business with H&R Block…I’m not coming back!! On to corporate to hopefully get some answers after waiting 5 weeks!!

I did not have a great experience with Tricia, there was a lot of confusion on how to file my out of state income tax (I moved from Michigan and have been in WA for 6 months now), ie she was asking me questions on certain items (which I had no idea about, my HR block agent last year took care of everything), admitting she would have to look into how to file because she wasn't sure, etc. I will admit I have NO idea about taxes myself which is why I pay HR to file my taxes for me. I eventually asked if I should just contact my old HR block agent in Michigan to file it. It is just frustrating as Tricia knew that I had Michigan W2 in addition to my WA W2 the day prior to my appointment, that would've been a great time for her to admit she didn't know how to file it and I would have looked elsewhere. Now I need to set up a virtual appt with a tax preparer from Michigan and pay another fee in order to file my Michigan state income tax which is frustrating as I was expecting everything to be sorted today with the deadline around the corner. As I was sitting with Tricia in this awkward environment, I overheard the next tax preparer near me explaining everything succinctly and efficiently to her customers. It sounded very professional and she sounded well prepared. I really wish I had that experience, it was anything but. I do not recommend Tricia.EDIT- Just got off the phone with a Michigan HR block representative. She was fantastic and sincerely apologized for my experience with Patricia. She will be taking care of my michigan state return for a discounted fee. She also said that when people come with different states for her she will call other states offices (which Patricia obviously didn’t do). I am honestly appalled with my experience yesterday! It is ridiculous I am paying another fee.
