Our 2014 Subaru was in for regular service and also included a brake change. We were given an estimate of $667.10 + tax, which came to 729.69. Our surprise was the added credit card fee. Not $3.00. But 3% )$21.89). Since we weren't advised of this fee on credit card purchases, we didn't bring a checkbook. We could have paid with cash- after a trip to the bank, since we don't usually carry 7- $100. bills. Very disappointed.Donna J.

Came into Subaru to finish paperwork after husband traded in vehicle days before. Husband called our salesperson to let him know I was coming (with infant) and to have paperwork ready. When I arrived that person wasn't there and the other employees had no idea what to do or how to help me. The whole ordeal should have taken 5 minutes but ended up being an hour and a half of confusion and being bounced between departments. We were stopped two times on our way to the car for last minute requests. Finally, baby was out of patience and started screaming as we walked back into the dealer for more signatures.Yikes.I will say that everyone I interacted with were very kind and apologetic about the confusion.

Scott, the manager, is amazing! He found me the Subaru I had been searching all over the Seattle area for and brought it to me in Olympia. I couldn't get there until after hours to pick it up, He had it fully detailed with a full tank of gas when I arrived and made sure one of his guys (Sam) was there to give me a tutorial on how to use all of the new computerized technology before I drove away. The customer service here is spot on!

I've taken my car in three times. Once for a routine oil change and twice because of low tire pressure. All three times the staff has been extremely courteous, patient and attentive. Everyone here is friendly. I dealt with Iona or Iola (sorry, I am terrible with names!) every time and this young lady deserves a raise! She made me feel comfortable and she was very polite. I felt like an idiot and hate dealing with car problems but she was sympathetic and reassuring and I felt much better knowing she was going to see to it that my car was taken care of. Even though I came in without an appointment, Hanson's took care of my car and replaced my tire. Granted I had to pay for it but it's not their fault I drove over a nail. Iola has always walked me to my car afterwards and made sure I knew that if I had any issues or questions that she was there to help. Seriously, she needs to be promoted. Her customer service skills are excellent. On another note, the waiting area is very nice. There's coffee, tea and water as well as snacks. There's a big TV and free Wi-Fi. The restroom is clean. I highly recommend Hanson's and although I hope I don't need to go back any time soon, I'll definitely be back when it's time for my next oil change.

My wife and I drove from Gresham, Oregon to Hanson (about 120 miles one way.) We test drove the vehicle we were interested in, thoroughly liked it, and were ready to purchase it until I found a nail in one of the tires. The maintenance doors were still open (it was about 5:40pm) but instead of making the quick repair to the tire, we were sent away and invited to return. Again, that is a 240 mile roundtrip. When I asked for some sort of concession or incentive to cover having to make that drive for a second time, Hanson refused! Well, that's an approximate $40k CASH deal that they p**sed away

I went to pick up my car at the service center and I was the only one waiting at the desk with two people just staring at their computer screens. Not one of them asked if I needed help until about 10 mins later. Finally, the lady at the desk asked has someone helped you? I have been standing right in front of you the entire time! Like what in the hell is wrong with you guys? Thankfully the guy at the other side of the service center got my car for me and I couldn't get out of there fast enough!

A rat got into our '21 Legacy's engine and chewed up a bunch of wires, etc. The car still ran, but the cruise control, eyesight system, etc weren't working. We took it into Hanson where we initially bought it and they estimated the damage right around 4000. Our insurance got it independently appraised and wanted a non-ideal repair done for 600. Not only did Hanson say that that was not safe and refused to do it, they kept the car for 5+ weeks and went back and forth with insurance until they agreed to pay for the safer repair. They didn't pay them what they actually wanted, but they made it work anyways. I am forever grateful. I love my car and am so glad to have it back!!!

I bought a brand new blue Subaru Crosstrek limited edition from Hanson Subaru. I have nothing but excellent comments about working with the Subaru team. Every single person that I dealt with was top notch wonderful. There are 2 of my favorite people that I feel blessed to have worked with and the 1st is Lee Jackson and our final sales dealer Sam Wright. I am not kidding when I say that I was treated with such respect and I felt like I was always their 1st priority. I am going back to pick up my plates in 2 weeks and I seriously am counting down the days to pop in and say hi! Not only did I find the best suv for myself but I actually was not even close to expecting such excellent service as I received. I highly recommend these 2 gentlemen and of course the whole Subaru family!!! Thank you so much for the excellent experience of purchasing my 1st brand new car and I definitely am in love with my shiny 2023 Subaru!!!

But no care to return or deal with this situation!!Below is the screenshot we've posted on their website reviews! Very disappointing in their Service after our having a new car from them!

The heater blend door modulator on my Kia Sorento died and the repair shop told me the part was not available. Our local parts dealers confirmed that. Hanson Kia in Olympia claimed they had one. A couple weeks later ,I had one. They kept me updated and the price was more than fair considering the supposed rarity of the part.

While they had the part I wanted, they also charged me sales tax. I live in no sales tax state, I am not in Washington nor receiving my part in Washington. Apparently, Washington state has decided they can charge sales tax on auto parts. I MAY be able to have the sales refunded if I go through a long, drawn out process. The owner would rather lose a sale than not charge sales tax. I cancelled my order and I am glad I did. I found my part elsewhere for $25 dollars less - and no sales tax charge. Keep looking if you are not in Washington state. There are better places to buy from.
