High quality meats from someone who cares and knows about his products. Also went for the dinner service which was a great intimate way to enjoy some of offerings from the store as well. Excellent curated wine service and selection as well. Can’t wait to comeback for another dinner service by Brian

I had a BLT here today and it honestly was the best Sandwich I have had in a long time. The bread was homemade the tomato’s on it were so fresh and my sandwich bacon was cooked perfect. The flavor of the meats along with the bread and everything else was excellent. The shop is so clean and the service was great. Definitely not a lot of places around that make sandwiches like this. Also I forgot to mention that the sandwich are big so what you pay for these sandwiches is nothing. I could only eat half.

Excellent quality sandwiches and great service! We made a quick stop for a bite on a road trip and this exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

We really loved this place until they catered my wedding. Our experience with catering was bad. The vegetarian dish had squid ink pasta, missing pickles on the charcuterie, showed up way late to the event and I learned he still hadn't showed up as I was about to walk down the aisle, food ran out before some of the guests got to eat, and lastly they charged us $500 more than original quote. No apology. We haven't returned.

This review is way over due. I met Brian and the Delmonico’s shop in November 2021 when I moved to Oly. Incredible selection with locally sourced ranch and farm fresh foods, breads, seasonal veggies, mushrooms, oils, sauces, the best pasta, sausages, garlic butter, bistro dinners, wine tastings, the wine selection is the best in town, and now the new lunches. Yum City! The tuna sandwich, burger, minestrone soup, BLT, are exceptional. I can’t wait to taste the entire lunch menu. When I moved I was sad to leave my local farmers and ranchers and Del’s turned my miss into joy. Everything that I have purchased from Del’s is always incredibly tasty and top notch. I get to shop here, the farmers market, co-op, and a local farm stand and never have to set foot in a corporate food store. Heaven on Earth. Grateful that I found my new go-to food source. I know that the food we put in our bodies is medicine and all this is assessable at Del’s. I had cancer last year and Brian set me up with incredible healing bone broth during chemo when I couldn’t eat, which helped me to get cancer free. The bistro dinner is cozy and fun and exceptionally yummy, I highly recommend. I can’t believe how good the turkey is too. I have never really enjoyed turkey before I shopped here. This is one of my favorite food sources around. I’m grateful that I moved to Oly and Delmonico’s landed in my life. We are so lucky to have this amazing small business in town. Enjoy

Wonderful lunch menu. Bryan is the man, and he'll hook you up with the goods any day of the week. I really recommend and appreciate this establishment, I hope they stick around because it's a fantastic butcher shop. They even have raw dog food options! Game changer as a butcher shop.

I've never had anything here that wasn't top notch. Sausage, charcuterie, ground beef and lamb, sirloin, bacon, pasta, wine, all of it is excellent. My family has switched to making meat a "special occasion" food with the intent of consuming less, but getting higher-quality meat when we do enjoy it. This is the place in Olympia for higher quality.
This weekend I went in needing ground beef for Memorial Day burgers for friends, and white wine for cooking manila clams. Brian's recommendation for wine was spot-on - the dry muscadet he recommended was perfect both for cooking and to accompany the meal. My friends said the burgers were some of the best they ever had. Nothing special about my recipe - it was all in the meat.

Brian(Bryan?) is so cool. And his team is awesome too (even though the tall kid calls me big dog ?)
They know they’re stuff there. Getting high quality local meat and making awesome stuff from it too.
It just such a vibe to walk into a place like this and feel like you’re back in the old days where customer service was the priority.
Can’t wait to get our half cow

The meat is fine, service is inconsistent, management is unprofessional.
Edit: I was a regular customer of this business until the owner of this business made an unprofessional post insulting other local businesses, then banned me for commenting that it was inappropriate.
I didn't say anything inappropriate, and the business owner is welcome to share what I said if he'd like. It would only embarrass him, not me (as evidenced by the immediate overwhelming support I received from other commenters, who were also censored.)
I have learned he has a history of doing this, and noted dozens of other social media comments being censored on their posts. I've also since found that others in the community have had similar issues, and that the owner is known as a megalomaniac in the community.
They also have been slow with my orders in the past (rabbit and guanciale, in particular. Long periods without contact, repeated follow-ups necessary to figure out what's going on with my order) and they've taken so long to respond to inquiries that I've even had to look for alternate butchers just to get my meat in a timely fashion. So, even without the owner's poor behavior, the service has fallen short repeatedly.
I've posted a screenshot of their LIGHTNING FAST response time to an inquiry, if you want some evidence. They're much faster to censor than they are to answer.

Great quality. Awesome service. Staff I’ve interacted with could not have been nicer.
Sandwiches really good but a little pricey.

Possibly my favorite small business in Olympia. Brian, the owner, is super friendly, very knowledgeable, and one of the kindest people to everyone who walks in his shop.
Most of the product is sourced locally, and if not it comes from a ecologically sustainable farmer.
The pop up dinners are also phenomenal. We went to our first this week and it was well thought out and set up with excellent wine pairings.
The photos are from the most recent dinner.
Keep an eye on Delmonico’s FB and website for dinner menu’s and events.

Pay attention to this guy’s hands. It’s gross. He’ll touch several different kinds of raw meats, handle money pack your order and not even think twice about it. Hardly ever see him wash his hands talk about gross! Obviously doesn’t know what cross contamination means , just nasty! This guy needs to take a food handlers class.
