“I have loved my time with the Thurston Chamber of Commerce. After a year and a half my business has doubled! This is huge for a single business owner. The events variety and people I have made connections with at the chamber have been hugely beneficial. My only regret is not joining sooner.”

“Beautiful church and although the design was intimidating an usher helped me with my wheelchair and made me feel welcome. The reverence was impressive and I was so moved by the service. Hoping this will be my home church.”

“We were in the store today just to browse and found a new rug that was all wrapped up. We couldn't see the pattern but Niko came right over and opened it up. When we decided to buy it he generously gave us a military discount as my husband is a veteran. He then ran around the store to gather up materials to help transport the rug with our car. He loaded everything up for us and another employee, Lauren, loaded it into our car. They both were so friendly and went out of their way to help us. That's A+ service which we really appreciated. Habitat is very lucky to have them! Thanks Niko and Lauren!”

“Years ago I found out about this group and took my son here to give him an outlet for his interest in electronics as I had no training or experience with it. Everyone was very welcoming and accepting of him. He is neuro-atypical and struggles with socializing normally, but he did well here.. At first I just read a book or listened to conversations, as I am a shy introvert and just came as my son's ride. After OlyMEGA was able to open back up after Covid, I joined in the boardgames on Friday and lost my shyness. Now my son and I love going every Thursday and Boardgame Fridays.I can happily say that my shyness is mostly gone when I am at OlyMEGA and I now reach out to new people when they come.”

“I had found a homeless man who was in distress. People had stole his shoes and he hadn't had shower for an unknown period of time. We were able to get in the pair of shoes at salvation army. Then took him to the mission where he got the care and support he needed. I guess he is well known to people and just going through a very difficult time again. I'm glad we was able to find this off landing. thank you for the loving care he received”
