Some good people here , the install tech really cares about his quality of work even a year or more after the initial installation. That's hard to find in any industry. I do recommend this car toys location.

I went into Car Toys to discuss an issue that I had with the radio of my new used car. I was met by a sales person and a technician and they immediately f ounce the issue snd explained why there was no real fix for this very inexpensive after market radio. We went into the store and discussed my options and I ask for there recommendations. 1 hour later I drove away with my brand new AWESOME radio. They deserve a A+ A+ rating.

Staff all were very nice. I think it would be a nice idea to have a couch and TV for customers to use while waiting for there installation.

I had a system upgrade done to a BWM X5
Special equipment had to be ordered to work with the original “Brain” that came with the car .
It look a little while for it all to come in. Which was no fault of theirs. Covid messed up a lot of stuff . But they kept me informed and up to date as different pieces were delivered.
Ian the head installer helped me decide what to get. And he even came in on his day off to personally install it . The guy knows his stuff ! It’s crystal clear with the perfect amount of bass .
I am a very happy customer and would recommend them wether an upgrade to your factory system or whatever.

The employees were very helpful. I came into the store looking for some foam tape for my door speakers. They didn't have any on the shelves but they let me buy some off of their own supplies. Than you guys.

got a security system installed a few years ago and they lied about it being a manual system and said they dont recommend i activate remote start at the time because being a new manual driver i might leave it in gear or something. when i came back about 2 years later to activate the remote start they said i need another 1600 dollar "brain" because i have an auto unit and they were pretty rude about the whole thing. rude on the phone but thought maybe it was just his normal tone but no the guy even butted into my conversation with the front desk guy when i walked in and said "hey hey hey i already told you on the phone your system cant do remote start" and the guy i was talking to just looked at me like a lost puppy and ended the conversation. also not my main gripe but it would have been nice if they asked me before drilling the blue security light into my dash (old car hard to find these pieces)

The Volume and Tuning knobs on the dash no longer work properly. The replacement housing for the new receiver looks cheap and worse than the factory panel. It took 4 hours for a 2 hour install and some of my dash controls don't work. Zero stars needs to be an option.

The workers in the shop are very knowledgeable and are very nice. They helped me pick out a good sound system which was nice because I have no knowledge about car systems. I would definitely recommend to friends.

I am absolutely livid with this place. My husband purchased me remote start for my vehicle for my birthday. It was installed at the beginning of August. It is now August 29th. We have already had to replace the fob battery. I can remote start the car however the engine dies once i put the car in gear AND my car is now not always reading when it’s in park and I get an alert that the car is not in park even though it is (never had this issue prior to this installation). I made an appointment for yesterday. I took my car in to be looked at. This place had my car for 6 hours without even calling me to give an update. I had to call twice and ask, the first time they couldn’t find my technician and said he was probably “in the bathroom”. Come to find out they called the manufacturer for the remote start (something I could have done myself in well under 6 hours) and found out that you have to get in within 45 seconds on unlocking the car or the engine shuts off. I have 2 kids to put in car seats under 3 years old, I’ll never be in the car in 45 seconds. They didn’t answer the question about the fob or the parking issue. I was told to call the store manager the next day to discuss refund options. My husband called today and was told it’s non refundable because it’s past 30 days of purchase. Well it’s not past 30 days of install and is causing my car issues, they gave 0 alternatives. I tried to call back and speak to the store manager and was told for the second time “I don’t know where they are probably in the bathroom they’ll call you back”. It’s been 2 hours, I have not gotten a call back. I will not be paying $1,000 for this piece of junk. The cherry on top of this all is that I live an hour away, so I had to drive an hour yesterday, have my friend pick me up, miss getting my kids from daycare and found no resolution to my issues and now even if they agree to uninstall I’ll have to do this process AGAIN. The owner of this store needs to be in contact with me ASAP.
