Honestly, in the past, I have not been a fan of Best Buy. But, my last experience was very good. I had a new Sony Navigation screen installed into a 2011 Honda CRV. The two guys in the mechanic bay were absolutely awesome, just really great customer service. The ordering of parts and installation went smoothly and afterwards they walked me through the how-to on the unit. The reason brick & mortar stores exist is for the customer service, prices are not that great at best buy, as it is hard to compete with online sales that have low overhead. But this experience with the Best Buy installation crew was awesome!

I’ve always thought Best Buy was the go to place for electronics but honestly it seems to have gone downhill. The shelves are empty and they don’t have anyone on the floor anymore to help. Limited supply of Apple products.

Winter is my hero. My tablet was slow and I didn't know what to do. The Mint mobile app was no longer available and I didn't know what was wrong. Winter took the time to find that I had used up my data, bookmarked the information and patiently showed me how to access it. This was such amazing customer service.

This review is for Geek Squad, specifically the Home Theater department. Grant and his partner (I think his name was Luke?) came out to my parent's newly bought home to install the mounts or their 85 inch TV and a couple of other flat screens in the house. They originally ordered with a sales person in store that told them that a 50$ mount would be okay because it was within the manufacturer's guidelines of weight & size for the 85 inch screen. However, when Geek squad came to install it, the TV was leaning low and the bars holding it from the wall were bending. Instead of just leaving it the way it was, they thoroughly went over other options that would be suitable for the TV. They did not seem annoyed or irritated at the fact that they would have to re-install another one. In fact, they were understanding about the situation and didn't make us feel bad for being unknowledgeable of how mounts work. They did not have the other mount on hand so they went all the way back to the store to retrieve it. Even though it was about a 250 dollar difference, it did not feel as if they were being pushy to upsell merchandise but rather genuinely committed to making sure we were 100% satisfied with the outcome. Prior to drilling any holes, they measured accurately and did a mark up using tape to make sure we were happy with the placement. They did this while accurately ensuring that it would be properly mounted to the wall using their professional knowledge. All of the TV's were mounted so perfectly and they were also nice enough to show us how to set up the smart TV as well as the surround sound system. Additionally, they showed us how to install extension cords to hide the wires and get the sleekest look. We are 100000% satisfied with the final outcome and are completely confident that it won't budge, but even more so happy with the outstanding customer service from Grant and his partner. My parents also had a difficult time submitting the payment through the link but they were super patient and kind as they worked through the issues. I wanted to write this review because sometimes we try to find the cheapest alternatives to do certain things but in the end, are unsatisfied with the results so we're stuck with crooked TV hangings or scared it might fall. This is your sign to not be cheap and book geek squad to make sure your nice TV's are mounted correctly and securely!!! And to trust their professional opinion! After encountering so many bad experiences in the past, we are grateful that these 2 were sent out to us to help us. Sometimes peace of mind is worth the $$$ ! Thank you Geek Squad Olympia for being apart of building my parent's forever home where many memories will be made! :)

They made a appointment and got all the info about what type of phone it was then we drive 60 miles to have them put a battery in my sons phone, and come to find out they don’t work on android phones! It would have been easier for your employee to know that you don’t work on android phones!
