“I’ve been buying from Home Depot for over 30 years. I’ve never had the outstanding experience like my wife and me had at this particular HD. Well organized, well stocked, knowledgeable and helpful staff across the board. Other HD’s need to study this one. Obviously management is stellar. It starts at the top. Bravo to you all. We have 3 HD’s much closer to us and yet we now avoid all three and drive directly to this one. It’s worth the drive. Thanks to all for restoring my faith in Big Box stores.”

“I am a "quilter want to be" so I got in touch with quilters connection after finding this gem on a google search. I recently purchased a vintage featherweight sewing machine and we could not adjust it properly. The owner,David, was so accommodating and agreed to get my little sewing machine working again. He gave us an appointment for the next day!!! Now that's service, folks!!! I was able to buy featherweight items at a good value too that day. I just appreciate having this little (by appointment only) sewing shop near enough to my home. One day I might take his maintenance course on oiling and greasing my featherweight sewing machine. “My wife and I have had two excellent shopping experiences at the Olympia Best-buy Westside. Last week and this week. We initially went in to look at the Apple Watches. A service representative introduced themselves (Sir Rolls) and assisted us. It was a positive learning interaction. We ended up with the watch that we chose and Rolls was a kind, pleasant and knowledgeable sales person. He also helped us with checkout and all the options available. This week my wife decided that she also would like a watch like mine. We went back to the store and searched out Rolls. He was happy to see us and called us by our names. Needless to say we purchased another watch after getting educated and he happily checked us out. Overall his courteous, meaningful, behavior needs to be recognized. Thank you. “I had an order of flooring and it was going to be late and maybe not in time for installation, but, Sherry-COS at the Home Depot on Fones Road in Washington State, worked trielessly to make it happen before the installation on March 1st. and by golly, she did it. “I had a great experience at this store last eve. With employee Kelvin as he was on the money with service and thoroughness. My refrigerator went kaput so we went to two nearby home depos with zero luck on buying one, then walmart no dice. We arrive at Lowes Olympia (60 miles from my home) at 940PM, the crew was already closing some doors and cleaning up the parking lot. We enter, go to the appliance dept and there are three good models. I flag down an employee with "customer service" on her vest, seems pretty smart, I ask her if she was a manager she says, I only have a week on the job, but she calls another guy who knew his stuff but says we only have 14 minutes and he checks the last floor model and volia there are three in stock. He takes off for parts unknown never to be seen again. Then Kelvin arrives, I show him the floor unit, he scans and goes to the stock area and he is moving with a purpose. I hear dollys a movin, he got it. He goes right to the nearest checkout comuter, I mention I am not interested in the extended warranty, he explains the 48hr return policy, he also stated regarding stand up vs laying down the fridge relative to a 24 hr wait. We complete the transaction. Kelvin very carefully manuvers the load to the front of the store, I bring the truck over and another employee helped get it on the truck. We're set. Kelvin definitely exhibited excellent customer service on a tight deadline, this made our experience at Lowes quite memorable and valuable.”

Big shout out to Erika at this Lowe's store for meeting us halfway, even though it was a manufacturer issue, and helping us to a solution that fixed the lawnmower. She turned a frustrating situation into a positive one with understanding and empathy. Thank you so much, Erika!”

“As a new homeowner I'm here a lot and the employees are always very helpful and kind. Just today one lady went above and beyond helping me find an air pump for a flat wheel barrow wheel. And then the gentlemen (Jason?) checking everyone out at the pay kiosks was super gracious while simultaneously helping me look up my Lowe's rewards and a person next to me with a veterans discount, even with the man behind me who was being pretty verbally impatient. (even though there were literally three people total in line and he had to wait maybe 2 minutes...) That they are still able to be so zen after black Friday is a feat. I hope they get a holiday bonus.”
