“My grandmother's old rocker was in bad condition, with an old paint job peeling off. The wood beneath looked grayish, either from age or from the paint. Reagan did a beautiful job of getting down to the original oak. She worked with me to choose a stain that would go well with new cabinetry in our home. Some of the old paint deep in the cracks gives it an antiqued look, and it's most definitely an antique, now made like new in the best way. When I dropped off the rocker Reagan said she loved furniture with a story, which my rocker has (To give her a picture of the rocker I sent her a blog post I had written about it: She went on to add that people bring her antiques they just bought; those are going to get their own stories in the future. She clearly really loves working with furniture.”
“Love this place. Contrary to the negative reviews it is not at all overpriced. Only people who don't often shop in vintage stores would think that... most vintage stores these days are very high priced and Fun Junk is priced considerably lower. Also, contrary to the name, this place is not full of junk! It's actually really well curated with interesting and rare vintage and antique items. As someone who has been in the same business for over 20 years, I've gotta say, this place is impressive and I love the owner's aesthetic! She really knows her stuff. It's unfortunate that people who don't know much about vintage clothing and antiques can be allowed to weigh in with negative reviews about amazing items they consider trash. That's fine, more for the rest of us Fun Junk lovers.”
“Man, it’s like knocking around inside a museum of human life. The difference is you can walk out with one of the pieces! We could spend hours in there, recognizing some pieces, wondering what the heck others are for. From tiny bits to large pieces of furniture-go check it out. Friendly staff to help you along the way”
“2nd hand store, rock shop, unusual items. We stopped in on our way to Chicory and glad we did. My companion scored a lapidiolite which was missing from her collection. I found an antique German prayer card for a friend this Christmas. The big win was a silver marcasite pin. My companion is wearing today. If you are going antiquing, this should be one of your stops.”
“I brought them a broken horse from my antique clock. They did a fantastic job repairing it and color matching to the original color.I can't even tell where it was broken.I would highly recommend taking any wood working or antique furniture to Summit Lake Antique.”
“Had the greatest experience in this store and the owner was super friendly as well as his kitty cat ? We spent 1.5 hrs in there & it seemed something new appeared as came around to look again.”
“I found the cutest end table there! And you should see their one-of-a-kind glass basin bird baths! Wowie! I've never seen anything like it! Very tempting!”
“Stumbled upon this store a few years back, regret not buying a lovely floor lamp. Stopped by today and found a darling low petite 1960’s table. Perfect for my low chair! Great customer service both visits. Would return.”

“Brainstormed sticking/binding slider helm doors on my boat. Very creative and well thought process considering all the water exposure to the doors and tracks. Working awesome and doors were re-sealed better than originally sealed. Replaced damaged wood perfectly creating a much improved fit in tracks with counter-sunk wheel trucks so existing track system on boat didn't require any modification. Thank you for your willingness to consider the unique situation with such expertise! Made our life and our guests that much better!”
