Endless nightmare, three winters in a row with huge gaps in heat because of failures on their end, paid for tanks that were never delivered, was flat out lied to over and over, filed a complaint with the BBB (there are already dozens) and convinced my landlord to switch companies, do NOT use these guys.

Worst customer service ever. Out of propane 4 days .. they removed our tank due to a leak in the gauge with no one who can tell us when we will receive a new one. It’s time to call a different propane company. Thanks Amerigas for nothing.Ha ha email you .. why because you can’t get a hold of anyone on the phone who knows anything and get put on hold forever and get no where. You took my tank and you want me to go through hoops to get one back. Guess what ? Other propane dealer answeredYour reviews are all awful. Should definitely expected the worst …

Our RV park has used Amerigas for many years. Last month our laundry room tanks ran dry. Couldn't get service so our tenants were without laundry entire weekend. I would not recommend Amerigas, such horrible service. I will be changing to another company as soon as my tanks are low. Also I was charged to pick up a tank that a tenant left here because they couldn't get anyone at Amerigas pick it up. I spent hours on the phone trying to get 2 tanks out of sites, took them a year and a half to finally get them out of the way!!!

You were not supposed to refill this tank. Check your notes! The last tech who came out to inspect said we would be getting a new tank and regulator once our tank was empty and ready for a refill. We will probably be canceling service with Amerigas after this.

The tank I lease from you was leaking. I've called and called to get a refund because your rep charged me for the refill even though the loss of gas was your fault. The 4th call I was told a refund was being processed. It was not. On the 5th call, I was placed on hold for 30 minutes and then transferred directly to a survey, no call back on the issue. Your support is terrible!

Propane was delivered smoothly. Thank you. Question about my bill. I called and was told, among other things that made sense, that because I’d called to schedule vs arranging on line there was an additional charge. How absurd and infuriating! The person with whom I spoke was pleasant and accommodating but the unreasonableness of this for unsuspecting customers still rankles.

I requested a text message or call before the delivery to make sure dog was inside. The driver was obviously in too big of a rush to accommodate. I witnessed the driver barreling down our one lane gravel road at a high rate of speed. I motioned for him to slow down and he ignored my request like the posted 15 mph speed limit signs. This is a private road with limited visibility and partially on a winding hill. We have had difficulties with people not observing the speed limit. I’m seriously considering switching my propane service as your driver is very dangerous. Was disappointed that I can’t contact someone locally to address this issue. I did call corporate office to complain and an investigation is supposed to be conducted

they keep letting our tank get less then 20 % before they send someone out to fill. they set us up or a delivery on the 10 of this month. they did not come out to fill it until the 23rd. your system does not take in the cold weather. we are about ready to change companies.

Canceled our service with them after multiple attempts to get our tank filled before we ran out of gas in the winter time. Now 4 months later they still haven’t picked up the loaned tank and have the audacity to charge us an annual tank rental fee AFTER closing our acct and waiting for them to pick up. Worst customer experience and company. Literally the worst!

Ordered online, called several times, finally received propane as tank was almost dry. Local company had key to my gate when they came. Amerigas seems to have lost it.

One star because you won't let me give a minus. We were Amerigas customers (C& D propane) for over 16 years. Bought a new house, set up service in Jan. "Sugar" would not deviate from her script, but assured me we would have auto-fill service again at new house. We left for a month, came home to new house in a snow storm and 20-something degree temps. Propane ran out this morning. No heat, hot water, fireplace or cooktop. Far away customer service line was NOT helpful. Refused to acknowledge an emergency situation, or the fact that it is their fault. Thankful we came home when we did, we are trying to manage until the new, LOCAL company (with real, caring people) is working to help us. Do not sign up with this company. Dangerous & sketchy.

Update since first review: took every step Amerigas has suggested to resolve my issues: ran out of propane for the THIRD TIME with much the same results. Was fully charged for a tank two weeks late. There are nationwide efforts to have this business shut down: sign me up!Original review: Three weeks of freezing weather and zero heat. Called twice before we ran out, called day of, NINE PHONE CALLS (lasting approximately 45 min each) LATER all we have is fake apologies and false promises and STILL NO HEAT. I even took a shift off work creating immense financial and personal strain in my life to be there for a thrice promised delivery that never showed: You have ONE job and you fail time and time again. Convinced my landlord to switch us and his five other properties, DO NOT EVER choose Amerigas.

Propane delivery went flawlessly. Billing and payment process was a total mess. Never did get a chance to view invoice. After several attempts to pay bill via web portal, email messages, phone calls, I was finally able to get invoice paid (amount representative said I owed ... still never did see an invoice)
