“The Kingfish is a charming Inn right in West Sound. The views are serene and beautiful and the dining atmosphere is romantic and quaint. The staff are friendly and make you feel warm and invited.”
“I have never had an experience like I did here. The front desk is extremely helpful and kind. The rooms have a comfortable bed, cable, and the best showers. The hot tub topped off the vibe. It is quiet and the views are magical. If you need any supplies, there is a little market on the marina that serves food and espresso too. Oh also check out the pizza place next door! It is the best we have ever had. On our last night the manager/owner came by to check in and dropped off some chocolate!”

“I stayed here for Toorcamp in late June 2024. Absolutely beautiful location, camping on the Point. Getting to enjoy a camp meal with views like this is wonderful. You do have to haul your gear down a trail for these spots, so be prepared and pack light. I brought everything I needed on my bicycle and rode from the ferry here. That felt like a mistake when I was going up the steep long hill a few miles before Doe Bay, but I made it. The cabins look really nice but I didn't stay in one so I can't say more.
The food at the cafe is excellent. They make bagels in house and have lovely breakfast sandwiches. Normally they are only open on weekends, but for Toorcamp the cafe has brunch and dinner every day Wednesday through Sunday. 10/10 would come here again.”
