I stayed here for Toorcamp in late June 2024. Absolutely beautiful location, camping on the Point. Getting to enjoy a camp meal with views like this is wonderful. You do have to haul your gear down a trail for these spots, so be prepared and pack light. I brought everything I needed on my bicycle and rode from the ferry here. That felt like a mistake when I was going up the steep long hill a few miles before Doe Bay, but I made it. The cabins look really nice but I didn't stay in one so I can't say more.
The food at the cafe is excellent. They make bagels in house and have lovely breakfast sandwiches. Normally they are only open on weekends, but for Toorcamp the cafe has brunch and dinner every day Wednesday through Sunday. 10/10 would come here again.

A bit quirky, but a good quirky
Walkability: Great trails nearby. Very widely spaced cabins-you’ll get your steps in, but that’s a good thing!

NOT a HOT springs, the water is not geothermal.
Its plain old tap water. And now it costs $20 each time you want to hop in the tubs...

Doe Bay is magic on earth! Attended a beautiful guided mushroom and plant hike by River and it was so inspiring. The spas are zen-like and you just feel your worries melt away. I can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely stunning place to be. We had a cabin with a bathroom/shower, kitchenette, bed. The bed was very hard, that's only bad part.
The views were beautiful.
The cafe was open on Thursday for dinner and open Mic, the food and drinks were great.
Saturday dinner was great food and drinks services amazing.
The food was dietary, like gluten-free, dairy free, vegan options.
The cafe was open on wknds for breakfast was so good.
We booked our own massage with whom they referred us. That was also a great experience.
We picked a time for the beautiful relaxing hot tub spa, the view was stunning.
I recommend this place, especially for dietary reasons. The Island had other restaurants that had great food too.

Fabulous spot on Orcas for a weekend (or longer!) getaway. Charming grounds with a variety of accomodations - from the more rugged to more luxurious depending on your preference. Very pet friendly and made it easy for our pooch. Loved how easily navigable the resort was with easy-to-follow walking paths and good lighting for nighttime strolls. Peaceful evenings with lots stars.
The spa was clean, tranquil, and well worth the reservation. The only unfortunate piece is the outdoor showers designated for rinsing between the spa and sauna. The shower water has a quite strong sulfurous smell that made rinsing off between spa experiences less than pleasant.
That said, I would recommend Doe Bay to any Orcas visitor and look forward to future visits!

I celebrated my 40th birthday here with two lifelong friends. I've been looking forward to turning 40 for years - mostly because of all the amazing stories women share about coming into their own around this time. I looked and looked and looked for the perfect place to celebrate. I chose Doe Bay and Orcas Island. It could not have been a better experience.
I had previously been to Doe Bay for the amazing brunch, and when it was time to find a place to visit for my 40th, I wanted to be in a house right in between that restaurant and the Doe Bay spa. For three glorious days we visited the spa (two communal sessions and one private one - had a great experience each time), the restaurant and walks around the beautiful property. Running down from the spa to jump into the bay (for the cold plunge but also to mark this meaningful birthday) is a memory I will never forget. The nature that surrounds this place will take your breath away, and the friendly and calm vibe of Doe Bay feels like a different planet.
I will be back again and again and again. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay incredible - Bev, River, Lauren!

Our favorite place in Washington. Perfect for a relaxing getaway when you want to unplug, unwind, read a good book, and soak in tubs surrounded by the beauty of the PNW.

The soaking tubs at Doe Bay are pristine, meditative and the view is unmatched!! The beach at Otter's Cover is isolated and calm and the overall property is well maintained by the sweet caretakers of this resort.

My partner and I had a lovely time in the Doe Re Mi cabin at Doe Bay resort in the last week of January. The cabin was cozy and had a gorgeous view of the water. The soaking tubs were divine and restorative. The open mic at the cafe was full of songs and laughter. I can't wait to visit again! Thank you, Joe and co!

Rent the Boat House for business retreats! We regularly book the Boat House at Doe Bay for Management Team and Board Member retreats. Since we started having our retreats there we have found that they are the most productive retreats we've ever had over the ten years we've been in operation. The Boat House along with the overall experience at Doe Bay is the perfect setting for a balance of getting work done and relaxing. As part of our stay we normally will reserve a private spa session, and it's a big part of why our team looks forward to our retreats together. What better team-building activity than relaxing in the hot tub and sauna? The price for a 90-minute spa session is totally worth it and very reasonable. We love the Doe Bay management and staff, who always make sure we have what we need and make us feel at home.Features of the Boat House that are particularly notable are:- The view. It's the best view at Doe Bay (see photo, which is the view from the deck at sunrise).- The beach. Being able to step right out the downstairs door and have the beach right there is incredible. If you like being close to the beach and the water then the Boat House is hard to beat.- The kitchen: The kitchen has a huge island and big counters, spacious refrigeration, stove, etc. so that you can bring everything you need for a whole team to cook all week if that is your jam. If you forgot any ingredients you can pick up most essentials from the Doe Bay store, which is only about 100 feet away. Of course you will probably also want to go enjoy some meals at the Doe Bay Cafe, too, which features an impressive amount of local and regional ingredients, including veggies grown onsite.- The steam shower and heated bathroom floors: there is a steam shower in the master bedroom and it is amazing. Everyone on our team normally will take a turn using it during our stay, always with rave reviews. The floors in both downstairs bathrooms are heated.- Large dining table: The long dining table will accommodate 8-10 people comfortably, making it the perfect for team meetings and meals. One thing to note is in regards to sleeping spaces. For our overnight retreats we are able to sleep four people in separate spaces. There are four people on our management team, so that works well. The four beds consist of the two large bedrooms (each with king beds), a foldout couch in the downstairs (near the door that goes out to the beach), and an upstairs foldout futon. There is also a second foldout futon in the upstairs, so if you have 5 people then two people can have their own beds upstairs so long as they are comfortable sharing the same space. For larger groups, my recommendation is to book the Boat House in addition to one or more of the other cabins or yurts that are nearby, which can be offered to members of the group that want some additional privacy.

Winter season is the time to experience some peace here, definitely want to experience it when everything is growing. We stayed in the upper rustic cabin room, Upper Anada. Very cozy and comfortable, though I would not want to be in the lower room as the steps and floor makes a lot of noise. The Cafe was very cozy and the bartender was very attentive. We came the night after the deep freeze and got great service, didn't order a full meal but everything smelled wonderful. The spa has amazing views both during the night and right at sunset. There could be more control of the amount of people, our first night it seemed like a big group snuck some more people in with their code. The shared kitchen had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space in the fridge. The store was very well stocked and priced. There is a huge selection of locally made items, food and beer.We hope to make it out in the spring, summer or fall if we can afford it!Rooms: A variety of full amenity cabins down to tent and car camping.Nearby activities: Two state barks, Obstruction Pass and Moran with plenty of hiking and biking opportunities. Eastsound with groceries, art and restaurants.Food & drinks: All local, even grown there.
