I cannot thanks the gals at the post office more. They took the time to help me with a package when I couldn’t pull up the QR code for them due to lack of internet service. Thank you ladies! This is the service all businesses need these days. Small town living.

Our regular delivery guy is great. Whoever subs for him leaves packages in our driveway unprotected by weather instead of our front door that is under a roof. If we got in our car and drove out of our garage we would run over them if we had no idea they were there.

Lived in a lot of small towns and have a lot of experiences w/ small town USPS.I’ve lived in Olalla for a15yrs. I have found everyone at this Post Office pleasant and very helpful. Michelle, the blonde woman, has always been quick to help me when she sees me fumbling to package something. They always go out of their way to help me if I have an issue with lost package, or if my PO Box gets too full!

March 1, 2020 I placed an order through Tractor Supply for mail-order poultry. The order status was never updated through their website, and I eagerly waited for a slip in my mailbox to let me know that the birds had arrived at the post office. Finally, a week after placing the order (the birds were supposed to be next day air mailed) I got a notice in my mailbox that I had an item for pickup at the Olalla, WA office. The very next day after work I raced to the office to pick up my birds. Upon arrival, the clerk tells me that the ducks had been there for a week, and 4 out of 10 had died. Appalled, I asked why I was never notified. She said she had made phone attempts with the number provided. I never had record on my phone for receiving those calls (and can verify proof). I asked why I only got a notification in my box ONE WEEK LATER that I had a package and she was unable to provide reasoning. I called Tractor Supply to file a complaint with them for why the order status was never updated. They have birds sent from a third party so order updates on not their responsibility, but they happily sent 5 more ducks to replace those that had died. I called Michelle at the Olalla office on Tuesday, March 17, to inform her that more ducks would be arriving and to ask if they had arrived. She said they had not arrived and I requested that they leave a notification in my mailbox when they did, and that I would attempt to call each day. I also reminded her, as I did in person during the first incident, that my phone is not an effective means of communication. I am not able to have my phone on me at all times as I work in controlled work areas that limit use of electronic devices. I requested they leave notification in the mailbox as the most effective means of communication and she said that they would, as standard protocol for a package at the post office. I called again Friday, March 20, after never receiving a phone call or notification in my mailbox. Michelle answered and was very rude in stating that the ducks had been there for days and had also died. Extremely frustrated, I asked why I was, once again, not given a notification in my box. She would not give me an answer. She said she attempted phone communication, which I again, have no evidence on my phone for any missed calls. I am appalled that this exact issue happened a second time, only two weeks apart. And only a few days from phone communication with Michelle to please leave a notification in my mailbox. Which, to date I have still never received a notification for poultry package (I have received notifications for other packages as they have occurred). Not only did Michelle tell me it is MY fault that the birds are dead, she also insinuated that I should have been more proactive in picking them up, even comparing me to other customers. I am furious with the complete lack of empathy and professionalism, and I entirely feel that the blame lies with the post office, who didn't do the small standard protocol of leaving a notification in the mailbox that a package was there - not just once but on two occasions, resulting in dead animals.

I can't get my head around all the haters about this post office, I mean come on: It's a post office! The lady at the counter is always nice to me and I've never had anything but a nice experience. Maybe those haters need to focus more on cleaning up the double-wide and picking up the garbage in their front yards. Losers.

Wife and I are ecommerce business owners who use USPS for shipping products sold on the website Poshmark. Clerks are always rude, lose packages, and constantly complain when we come to ship packages. They act like we're ruining their day by shipping with them.

Came down to pick up parcels that have been at the post office for 2 days and the blond woman working the counter wouldn't even try to look for them. Her customer service skills need to be worked on.

For the last few weeks they will not deliver packages claiming there is no room to turn around, yet the gentleman that drives the UPS truck (much larger) is able to come in and turn around no problem. I have to go to the post office to pick the packages up, not a big deal but the older woman with the blond hair is incredibly rude and has been every time I have an interaction with her. As of today my household was supposed to recieve multiple packages yet they gave us only one at the office when on the tracking for all packages they were supposed to arrive Friday, all say attempted delivery, all should be at the office yet they handed over only one and when this issue was raised they made no effort to look or help an any way. Will be making a formal complaint after the holiday

Has never delivered a package on time. Updates say that package was delivered when it was not. Terrible customer service.
