If I could give 10 STARS I would! Since moving to the community January 2022, Ocean Shores Timberland Bank customer service has been BEYOND outstanding! Disabled husband with wife still working, getting by week to week watching every penny a bad actor somewhere tried to steal every thing from us. No, we are not part of the "elite entitled rich upperclass" paycheck to paycheck is more accurate. Timberland stepped up and handled this B.S. in 1 day! Thank you, sincerely, to the entire Team at Timberland.

I received my final statement from Timberland in the mail and the information contained on it was pathetic. This was supposed to be my March statement. I would say about 3/4 of the account interactions were not listed on my statement. Fortunately, my new bank captured the transactions. When I banked with Umpqua, I had access to my closed account to download statements for a couple of months after closure. The same with American Express. These people closed my internet access THE DAY I closed my account. I was not able to download my statements or anything else. When asked, I was told that it was "fraud prevention". What BS. Over the year that I have had an account with them, I found these people condescending and rude. Customer Service is of secondary concern to them. The March statement I received only confirms that. After interacting with them over the past year, I am sure others feel the same. Happy to be rid of Timberland. If I could give them no stars, I would.

We were with Timberland several years ago and our banking needs had changed so that we closed the account. Never did have any problems with the bank or the employee's. Now recently have found ourselves once again needing a local account.( recently moved to Ocean Shores) We chose Timberland from previous experience and once again were treated with patience and respect. Great people, lots of options, excellent bank. Highly recommended and lots of locations.

Opened up an account and it was one of those days where you thought you were ready to take the day with force, but tripped on the way out. I looked at multiple banks and got my information mixed up and thought I was prepared, I was not! The individual who helped me (forgot name, sorry) and she was extremely patience with my husband and I, some how he was more prepared than I was. The experience was great, quick, and easy, and again, she was extremely patience, since she was also experiencing technical issues.

We have only been in the area for less than 1 year. We don't have a lot of options for banking because of where we live, so after a little bit of comparing accounts, we chose Timberland. BIG MISTAKE!! This bank is the worst when it comes to servicing their customers. No third party checks, could not open an account for our older son, who lives at home, unless he can verify his address with a utility bill!?!?!? He is 18, he is not on the utility bill because he doesn't pay the utilities!!! Duh! Our younger son, received some birthday money in the form of a check, after a call to the head office, I was told they would cash it this one time, but that I would have to sign the back as well as him in case the check bounced it would come out of my account?!?!?! I set up our bill pay for our account, but with having so many issues with this bank, decided to instead transfer the money into our other bank and pay bills from there. Last week, I received an email stating that they have closed my bill pay use because I have not used it in awhile?!?! REALLY!! I cringed every time I need to go to the bank as it is always something with them. What good is a bank that you can't do banking at??? Look forward to finding a "new" bank where they take care of their customers.

This is to update my previous review from 2009. Timberland Bank's online banking system now supports transfers to other institutions, as well as online bill pay, including the ability to send a bank check! If I ever move from the area, I'm keeping my account here, these folks are the very best.

I just want to say that I love timberland bank! Everyone there is friendly always smiling, helpful and caring! I have been banking with them going on three years and I will not for know choose a different bank! One day I went into the bank to see penny and I was crying and in a lot of pain but I had no choice but to go to the bank and get money so I can pay for a taxi that was the most embarrassing experience for me but penny is a wonderful person she treated me like family! I'm giving timberland 5 stars due to there commitment and dedication to treat every customer as family and not looking at them as the customer making them money! Thank you timberland bank thank you for being an outstanding bank and I will keep recommending you as a bank to bank at!

I have had nothing but problems with this bank, I found out from my T.V. provider (sling) that my bank card had been compromised and should get ahold of my financial institution. Someone had used my card and created an account with an entirely different email address, that's why I had been double charged that month. I called my bank and the lady went over my statement with me, there were 2 charges on there that I knew I didn't make and she told me that with the gas station across the street, people had been making cards and I needed to come in. I went in the nxt day. When I looked at my statement, there was a charge from a smoke shop for $42.50 that is down the street and there was a $50.00 charge from Seattle, Lake Sammamish. Looked at the date on the Seattle date, I get chemo infusions in Seattle, but knew I hadn't made many charges to my card yet since getting paid. The Seattle charge was for the day after my chemotherapy infusion. I told her that, showed her my appointment schedule. She was the same lady I had spoken to the same day prior. She told me that if I went ahead and perused these charges bcuz 1 of them looked like it was from an ATM, she would prosecute me to the furthest extent of the law! She sent me home with the statement to look over. I called the main branch the nxt day and spoke to the manager and told her what had happened, she said she would call me back. 2 mins later, the lady from my branch called, apologized, said must be some confusion and to come in. I signed the papers to get the fraud charges taken care of. The nxt day, she called me back saying on the 1 close by, I needed to get a police report. She was rude and saying there is no way someone cld hv had my pin for an ATM. 2 days before, she told me that they were making cards at the gas station across the street from their location. As far as the Seattle charges, or any other charges go...they did nothing..they are the worst bank EVER! I'm on social security disability and as soon as I'm feeling better I'm going to go sit at social security and change banks to change my direct deposit. That lady knows I am in chemo, am I'll and threatened me with prosecution over something my cable company caught. You hv to wait 7-10 business days for your card to come, not like BECU, where you get same day. Am going back there

After and hour on the phone late Saturday evening, trying to cancel our debit card. Mind you there is only one card to our checking account. I was told that I need to contact the bank Monday to cancel the card. So we are suppose to just let the card possibly be used and empty our account because the bank does not manage there own cards after hours. Will definitely be filing complaints with the Federal Reserve and the Consumer Finacial Protection Bureau Monday. Stay away if security is your concern because it's not there's. I only gave them one star because I had to to file this.

I have never been treated so badly by a bank before. My grandmother recently passed away and my name was on her account and when I tried to have money transferred out to pay her bills I was told that it was too suspicious because they have never heard from me before. Supposedly they hadn't called me several times (which I never received) and even with all my information and knowing that I live on the other side of the country and had no way of coming in the the bank itself still would not let me do anything with my own account because apparently I'm too suspicious. The account will be closed right away and I will never have an account with this bank again and I hope that no one else is treated with the disrespect that I was treated with.
