Best. Place. Ever. We stayed in Once Upon A Tide from July 17th, to the 21st. It’s located at 986 Point Brown Ave SE. Not exactly at Oyhut Bay, but still amazing. We looked around the Oyhut Bay area, we ate at the Oyhut Bay Grill. Amazing food, service, and the waiters were so cool!!!

Dinner was delicious. A little over priced. Short staffed. Waited over an hour and a half for food. Our waitress was very nice.

We have stayed at Oyhut Bay 3 times. 2 different houses. We have enjoyed our stay all 3 times. They have increased their prices. The house we stayed at this time was bigger. TV in both houses is not regular cable so be prepared for that. The resort is getting bigger I would recommend to put in an other rec area on other side of condos. The store is good. Pricey but if you don't want to drive into town it's there. I had the bakery make a cake and cupcakes and the did good job. Every house is different so research the homes. Lots of deer. Areas for kids to ride bikes. Trails to walk.

We stayed at the bridge house and it was amazing! This place literally had everything you can think of for supplies. The people where all very nice. Don’t miss the chance to stay with them. The bikes they let you ride where definitely some wobbly death machines. But they stayed together. Thanks

Wonderful place in ocean shores. Great homes to rent or buy. Most accept dogs, some have their own hot tubs. I love this place! A short trail walk to a pretty private beach. the most wonderful restaurant & best meal I had in ages! Great Corks and Taps bar separate from restaurant. All in walking distance of the village. Great place for kids and adults. Friendly people. In fact, I think I stumbled on Utopia! Go!!! You'll love it!

12 adults rented the Sanctuary for the weekend and there was a misunderstanding about 2 friends parking their rv near the house. Initially I was very frustrated as they had to camp down the road a bit but the managers comped us 15% off thr rental fee which was SO AWESOME. The home was immaculate, many details were included to make our stay comfortable, and everyone had a good time. Thanks Oyhut Bay!

2nd time visiting. Great experience. Bikes for the kids, even a strider bike for the really little kids. Great play ground and on-site restaurant and mini grocery store with coffee stand. The beach is very close walking distance.

Front Door frame was broken 6”giant gap where a large rusty screw was showing upon entrance, the rear sliding glass door would not latch. The rooms smelled terrible upon entrance we had to open all the windows to air it out. There were round things located on the walls with a pull cord to open and close them but we had no idea what they were for??? The shower heads would not swivel they are cemented into one position. The bed was like sleeping on the floor very hard. The couch was sunk in like it was from a used furniture outlet. For all the elegant appointed art pieces in the walls and counter tops to make it look “expensive” underneath it was pretty dingy. We won’t book the condominiums ever again. I am not sure the building is even up to code.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They claim to be “dog friendly.” However, I brought my dog and she got anxious and chewed on a few corners of the couch. Which mind you, this couch was in awful condition as is. And they claimed to charge me $3,800 for the couch. Which is absolutely ridiculous. The dog didn’t even ruin the couch at all and they claimed it was a sofa sleeper which was not noted on the unit at all. They then took the price down to $2600. They were awful to negotiate and converse with about the situation. In addition, they tried to give me this price without documentation of any sort. I wouldn’t EVER go back here or recommend anyone stay here. What an awful business.

We absolutely loved our condo! Super spacious, clean, and kid friendly with high quality amenities! Loved the local market, as well as the easy access to ocean shores!

Very nice house, lovely view on the canal. Check in could have been a little smoother. But this place is adorable. We will definitely be back.

While the houses was cute that’s the only good part of the place.1st - Went to the restaurant nobody was in line and only one couple was dining. After waiting 20 minutes for a table to be ready we left.2nd- The staff was constantly taking the parking space reserved for us and coming into the fence to take care of the hot tub and work on the porch. It’s very scary to look outside and see a person at your porch at night. We were never told staff would do this.3rd- We paid and almost $200 cleaning deposit and after we left they wanted to charge us an extra $100 for a small crayon mark on the floor.Never staying here again. Definitely not a kid friendly place

Nice place but lousy experience. A large family gathering over July 4th, for which a premium rate was paid. You would expect in a rental of this size suitable cooking pots, pans, griddle, cooking utensils. Knives were horrifically dull (dangerous). No griddle. We planned a large family breakfast for 8 with pancakes, eggs, bacon etc etc only to find a small frying pan to cook it all on. No griddle or larger pan. The kitchen was outfitted for a couple not a family. Total joke.Upon arrival the television didn't work, wanted to watch an event but had to wait for maintenance to show up and when they did they could not get it to work either. Fireplace was inoperable also. Really overpaid for this experience. Email and voice-mail to OyeHut about the experience both went unanswered shortly after we got back in July. We go to the beach every 4th. Have stayed at Seabrook a number of times and this was our 2nd experience at Oyehut. The first was fine (expensive, but nicely appointed) when it was just my wife and I in a condo bit when we took our family and inlaws this time it was not good. Will not be staying at OyeHut again.
