Im not a church goer, but as far as being involved on the community and being there for people... This is a good place to start if your wanting to build strong community ties, do volunteer work, ect.PACK TO SCHOOL is hosted here.every right before the start of school and you can bring the whole. Family to bennefit from this out reach program. School supplies are given to every child in need from Kindergarden to High School Seniors. They have a BBQ and bounce houses Free Hair Cuts for the kids and all kids of other programs come with donations of books, clothes, games, prizes, Fire safety. The whole day is Free and and fun and productive and a necessity for some. Wether your in need or you just want to help out. Thos is only on Program offered through out the year. @ PENINSULA BAPTIST CHURCH

The Church does a lot of community service events in addition to their Bible Camp & Pool .. The pool is open to the public for limited hours, they also offer arthritis & flexibility classes at the Pool. The Church is located just North of the Camp/Pool facility across the highway.
