Very good honest caring veterinarians. If they can save your pet they will.

Dr Mangiameli has taken care of all our animals for the last year now. What I like most about him is that he’s a straight shooter! We found a kitten nearly dead outside and took him to the doc, he warned us that he was pretty bad off, but he would see what he could do for him. He nursed this guy back to life, we saw him for three days straighten them a CDRE more times until he was stable. Now he’s the sweetest cat, the doc saved this little guy!

Extremely rude receptionist and combative vet when asked about pricing. Would never have them care for my animals if they treat potential customers so rude!

Holly, the receptionist was so helpful. I called to see if there's any appointments available because my primary vet was booked 2 weeks out. She said she can't take in any new customers if I haven't been seen there before. Asked if I have a vet anywhere else and I said "yes, Best Friends" and she replied with "ok, buh bye". Rude and unprofessional. Thank goodness I did not go to this place first.

Doc saved my dog. He did two back to back surgeries after she ate a sock and even came in outside of business hours to treat her every twelve hours while allowing her to recover at home where she would be comfortable. We love our vet and how caring all the staff is to our animals.

Dr Mangiameli was so good with our pup. She had health issues and he did his best to help and treat our dog. He would check on her everytime we brought her in. Appointment or not. We couldn’t ask for a better vet to take care of our dog and love our dog like we did. When the time came to say goodbye to our old pup he was very heart felt and compassionate. Him and his staff are wonderful. I’m very thankful for them.

Dr. M. brought our 11 year old cat back from what we thought was the brink of death a couple months ago. He was on a well earned day off and literally came off the ski slope early and met us at his office. Any other vet would have told us to go to the emergency vet in Mt. Vernon. I take that back, "any other vet" wouldn't have even answered the phone. There was a recent nasty hit piece in the local paper based on a 3 year old "complaint," coincidentally published a week after a "puff" piece article in the same paper about the glitzy, expensive vet office a few miles away. I know and trust Dr. Mangiameli.

Looks like North Whidbey Vet has been wiping their slate clean of negative reviews. Mine was from 2017, and I know there were a lot more people that shared unfortunate services from them. I have photo reviews of my experience attached, hope this helps someone.

I have previously really appreciated their care but recently find after forgetting the day of my pet's appointment they seem to be purposely putting off my pet's need. have not responded to a request to reset nor to even call me back. Every provider has the right to refuse service but I am surprised at the appearance of rude disregard. I hope I am mistaken.

When I tried to receive my dogs pre nuder vet check. The front desk staff was not open to my dogs vaccine record (Rudd)Then the Vet came out to clarify why he will not except my dogs shot record. The paper work I presented had the day the shot was taken and lot number and brand what medication dogs wait and age when given. Also expiration dates. The Vet went on a lecture why the neighborhood monthly Vet program at Tractor supply'. Was a Mickey mouse operation. I don't believe that, I think North Whidbey Veterinary Hospital is wrong and lacked professional courtesy along with customer service. I will not be taking my dog here.

This place is STELLAR! My cousin came to visit from CA and brought her dog with. Her dog is 7 yrs old and had not been neutered. He was aggressive and marking (peeing) up my entire house. I told her I'd pay to have him neutered in hopes that he'd stop marking in my house. I usually take my dog to Best Friends vet, but they're SO EXPENSIVE that I needed to find a much more reasonable vet. North Whidbey Vet got us right in! They were SO knowledgeable and so extremely personable! You can't tell the veterinarians from the vet techs because they are ALL so personable and approachable. They handled the dog so wonderfully and put him at ease so well. I can't get over what an amazing facility this is, if I could give them 10 STARS I would! I walked out of there when everything was said and done paying at least 50% less than at Best Friends Veterinary, and I was so happy! The vets are hilarious and so very friendly. You feel like you're visiting friends when you walk through the door! I'm so happy that I discovered this place! I'll definitely be bringing my own dog here from now on!!!

TRUE ANIMAL LOVERS! I cannot say enough great things about North Whidbey Veterinary Hospital. When a tumor was found in my little dog, surgery was quickly scheduled and performed. The tumor turned out to be much bigger than expected so there were several follow-up visits. Each time, both my dog and I were greeted with smiles and people who truly cared about her well-being. They understood how stressful the whole process was for me and were very caring and compassionate, and even told a joke or two to get me smiling. Thankfully, she has now recovered, and I will be forever thankful Dr. Mangiameli and everyone who works with him. Highly Recommend!

In May my husband and I bought a Bloodhound, he was 2 months old at this time. A couple months after we got him, he got extremely sick. And refused to move from the baby swing in our living room for almost a week. We got him in to be seen by Dr Mangamelli as soon as possible, which was the next day. Come to find out he had a severe case of mange. And it was generalized to his whole body. We have been going to see Doc every week since August 1st. Our puppy is now 8 months old and is thriving! He still looks a little sickly but he is also growing all his hair back finally, after losing it ALL. Red, our puppy, is always excited to see the Doc when we go. He can't get inside quick enough. We are extremely pleased with the service provided and how healthy our puppy is becoming again.
