Terrible experience. I'm not sure how this place has so many good reviews. I didn't get any cleaning or cuticles removed; she started with the color right away and didn't even apply lotion or oil afterward. The polish was applied in a very thick layer, and the color is all around my nails. I literally have to go to another salon to get this removed because I'm embarrassed to have my nails like this!
The technician was also rushing because another customer arrived for an appointment. It's clear they don't care about their clients. While doing my nails, she took a call to make an appointment, only saying "yes, yes, tomorrow?" without even taking note of it. Then, someone showed up claiming to have an appointment, but they had no idea when the appointments were scheduled. She told the customer to pick a color and made them wait until she finished mine, which was rushed and poorly done just to attend to the other customer. It was very disrespectful.
I would have understood if they had informed me upfront that they were expecting another client and I might have to wait, but instead, they were disorganized and rushed through my service, doing a bad job before attending to the other person. I get my nails done every two weeks and just moved here, but I've learned my lesson that this is not a place to trust for regular visits. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll get good service, but I wouldn't count on it.

They finessed me. I go for cuticle maintenance and they really didn't do anything. Just kind of rubbed my feet. If I wanted a foot rub I'd go to the massage place. Really feel like I shouldn't have tipped even what I did which was 10. A waste of 40$

Happy nails is the perfect nail experience, anytime I go here I am greeted by the owner with a smile the nail techs are really good… my nails are always so beautiful and the prices are reasonable and consistent. My nail tech always does exactly what I want her to do and I always love my happy nails!

HORRIBLE brow waxing experience! I have actual blisters from her taking off skin with the wax! On both eyelids- long sores. Not to mention that there are still stray hairs everywhere, she didn't pluck anything and never trimmed them... even after saying "wow, so long!".
They are a complete mess and absolutely painful. I paid $20 dollars for the messy brows I came in with, missing skin, and burn wounds. I have plenty photos to prove so.

We love Happy Nails. Tina and the ladies are all so sweet and do an amazing job. We have been other places and they were not consistent or as friendly. We also love how relaxing it is when you step inside.

I had a pedicure done- my nail tech was very rough when filing and massaging my feet. I kept asking her to be gentle. When trimming my cuticles, she was moving very fast. She cut too deep, and then pulled the skin .... It is very painful and was bleeding when I got home. I don't know why she was so rushed, but the whole service (gel+scrub) was $51 with tip and I left in pain and the opposite of relaxed. I was so stressed out I almost left my phone I was trying to leave so fast.EDIT: 2 days after coming home, my toe nail became infected. Now, I have lost 1/4 of my toenail. It is still painful, and the healing process is long. I keep thinking about how much the whole think hurt- from her peeling the skin of my inner nail, to the painful massage done by a person who didn't seem to know what she was doing.. I'm so angry, and I wish I had just walked out of there. I haven't worn normal shoes in weeks.

My experience here has me swearing of having a pedicure Ever again. The massage was painful and I repeatedly asked her to be gentle. She was moving Way too quickly when trimming the cuticles on my feet, she cut into the skin of my big toe... THEN PEELED it. The inner skin... I gritted my teeth and went with it, again asking her to be careful. Made it through a painful, brisk massage, done by the tech who seemed to have no idea how to give one and did weird, random movements. It would have been comical if i wasn't near tears. My toe was bleeding when I got home. Two days later, I had an infection in my toe. A couple weeks later and I have lost a quarter of my nail, I'm still in pain, and I cannot wear normal shoes. I'm so angry, and really wish I had just walked out. My friend beside me had a fine experience, and it was obvious that her tech new what she was doing.

This is my second time coming. First time everything was fine, I did get cut in my cuticle but the color was great shaping was great. Today was my second time and I will more than likely not come back. I got cut 3 times, one of which would not stop bleeding so she attempted to put super glue on it! I picked a color which ended up being way lighter than anticipated (my fault I thought) so I just went with it. When finished and walking out 3 of my nails has visible bubbles in it went back in and had her fix it, she sanded and went to put clear on it when clearly one bubble was still there so I stopped her. Everything felt rushed, my nails didn't fully cure under the light. Once home I was lookin through their colors (I had taken a picture the first time I went) and the color I selected s16 is clearly not the color on my nails! Very disappointing.

Honestly so amazing. They are always so gentle with my nails and are so kind. Everytime I come in wanting a design they replicate it so well. I love this salon and have been to pretty much every one in oak harbor at this point... nobody compares at all. My nail shapes are always beautiful and I never leave without feeling so incredibly happy and relaxed. 10/10 highly recommended

Second gel pedicure. First one was fine. Second one I had a toenail fall completely off when they dremeled off the gel. One month later I have had three nails fall completely off. I will not be back.
