I love the length of the class(40 min), intensity, workouts change every class and the mechanical form of the exercises feels good for my body.

I purchased a pack of four classes as an introductory offer to the gym. When I showed up for my first class, I needed to change from work (I work construction, not from home) and was only given a few minutes to do so. The class of four was started without me. When I asked the instructor for more clarification on what I should be doing, he told me to "pick a side", which made no sense as I had missed probably a minute of the introduction. When I asked for clarification on what he meant, he told me that maybe this gym wasn't for me. Obviously, I left since this guy wouldn't explain and was extremely rude. Huge disappointment, I was really excited to try out this gym and I don't really understand why the instructor wasn't willing to be understanding or helpful.

I started working out at BasePoint a few months after giving birth to my first child. I am so happy I did - the classes are wonderful (full body focused) and the personal training helped be regain my strength. Paul does an exceptional job tailoring personal training to my needs and goals. I look forward to the sessions each week!

It has been great getting back to BasePoint after being on a little exercising hiatus. I have been doing weekly personal training appointments with Paul and have loved the personalized classes and the variety they offer. I really appreciate Paul’s holistic approach and his endless knowledge on fitness and nutrition. I am very grateful we have BPF in the valley.

Well organized program, very knowledgeable instruction, great music and motivation. My fitness level has improved tremendously and I owe it to this program. I am coming back from multiple injuries and surgeries and through this training I am stronger and faster in the activities I enjoy - skiing, hiking and cycling, at my peak at 58 years old!

Usually I get bored of workout places but that is impossible here! Every workout is different and accessible. The instructors are so helpful with modifications or technique, they are also very encouraging and kind. I actually miss it when I can’t make my classes and even though it’s “only” 45 minutes, it’s a better workout than I could ever do alone in a gym. I’m so glad I found this place, it’s a great community where anyone of any ability would feel comfortable working out.

Lots of variety, and friendly people! I have been coming here since August of 2022, and have made "gains" in weight loss, strength and cardio. I was already a strong hiker, but now seeing a hike take 30 mins less than it used to is exciting to see how consistency at the gym pays off in my chosen activities. I also like that I just show up and my workout has already been planned out vs. having to organize a plan. This is really important to me as I figure out the balance of the weight of extended family care, day-to-day life and self-care.

Paul and Kim have created a wonderful fitness community through BasePoint! The workouts are challenging yet welcoming for all fitness levels. I have attended classes during pregnancy and postpartum and have always felt like I can modify exercises if needed. They have implemented good cleaning practices and keep class sizes small. It's clear that Paul and Kim prioritize safety of their clients in the layout and structure of the workouts. I always look forward to coming to class each week!!

I’ve been working out at Basepoint Fitness now for 1 1/2 years and I’m a big fan. Professional, talented and motivating instructors, lots of variety of classes that provide a balanced workout between strength training, cardio and stretching, and a great community of people. It’s a gift I give myself for my mental and physical health. I highly recommend it!

I really like how I don't have to think about what I will do for my workout (e.g., if I was at a traditional gym or at home). Paul sets up unique and challenging circuits with a variety of exercises and I just show up and give it my all. Paul does a great job of explaining that day's routine and I do it. I also love Paul's positivity and coaching style. It's a fun, group workout setting where I don't feel like I'm competing against anyone but myself.
