“Locally owned bodega style market. I own a business about two blocks away and I am always trying to spend my money locally. I am a frequent customer and this is where I hold half my business meetings. The owner is working behind the counter most days I’m there. Food is delicious, drinks on tap, and the Downtown Renton scenery is amazing! I take all my clients and employees there because it’s a great local spot in Downtown Renton with prices that are affordable for regular workers. Every order is cooked right in front of you! Just for you! I live two blocks away from the best bodega(market) in Seattle.”

When my in-laws come to visit, the first place they want to go is Trader Joe’s! I will say, their produce, milk, meat, might not stay fresh for long. The parking lot can be a nightmare in this shopping center because it’s so busy, so bring patience and kindness when arriving and leaving.”
“Everything has been great except for a couple things there's been from what I've seen at all stores not just grocery outlet but all stores have an almost addiction or orders from above to force high fructose corn syrup on us in everything possible same with soy, wheat, gluten, GMOs ( almost all GMOs contain Roundup) Canola oil, vegetable oils, Xanthan gum, gar gum, and other gums, artificial sweeteners, and various food colors and dyes, these are good for nobody except the people selling them”

“More than a convenience market. I Love the availability of genuine Mexican cooking, fresh tortillas, and orders to go.Birria !!! ? Need I say more. But that’s just the beginning of great portions of traditional Frontera cuisine. Today’s stop was for a pot luck for which we bought an 8” round of flan! “You won’t find more affordable Tobacco prices unless you go to the reservation and even then you won’t find a owner that’s as classy as Ken and his super sweet wife together they have owned this local convenient store for over 30 years or close to it. You won’t find lower prices on tobacco or anything else they sell I no longer live near this store but that doesn’t matter good people and great customer service Ii will drive the extra distance to spend my hard earned money where it’s appreciated and I never leave without more than fai value. If you smoke or use Tobacco and can’t make iit out to the reservation you won’t find better prices anywhere I challenge you to stop by and see how much you can save on your next tobacco purchase from packs to cartons or lighter fluid or Vape this place has you covered”

“I'd walked by this place several times when I had business in Burien, and never gotten around to checking it out. From the street it doesn't look like much, but...Wow! All the produce is really good quality, and great prices. It's actually quite large, and also has a great selection of Asian items as well as Mexican and Middle Eastern basics, plus a fresh fish area. Nice people too; I think I may have just found my favorite produce market in the SW Seattle area.”

“Wonderful food store for our small island. Well run and focused on customer needs. Shopped there for 40 years. A recent change in the software is pushing me to the IGA. Their new software requires scanning my drivers license to purchase wine. IGA and the liquor store do not, and state they will not, scan purchaser's Drivers license. There is no legal requirement to scan. Their issue is stated as liability if they mistakenly sell to a minor. Just raise the age appearance to 30. I am 77 and need to prove I am a minor?!”
“The smell of freshly baking bread is a delight. They've got a tandoor and when you buy some of the Afghan bread he pulls you a fresh one out of the tandoor that is piping hot. They've got some spices, raisins, currants, and nuts for sale too. Their grocery selection is a bit sparse and their hours are seemingly erratic but the bread is delicious and the baker seems to be a nice fellow. The price for the bread is pretty cheap as well.”

My wife and I decided to shop here again. We liked what we saw, and we picked up a few things. Everything was good, so I have upped a star from 3 to 4.
I'm starting to shop here more often now, I wish some cashiers paid attention to the ring-up. I dealt with Gabriella G. earlier today. She rang up my items and then was going to ring up a customer item right behind me at the same time. I told her that it was not mine. No greeting, sorry, or a thank you. I'm not sure if she got any training. Or she just needs to pay attention I guess if no greetings for the customers.

I usually shop at the Grocery Outlet in Federal Way because it’s convenient, and the store has a decent amount of fresh produce, meat, and baked goods.
It’s been a while since I shopped there. I've seen an employee sneaking and following a customer inside and following him out of the store. That was a bit odd despite having cameras all over the store already.
Anyhow, I like the variety of dried products, but I have not been shopping since there was an incident. I stopped by after work and had my Boeing laptop with me. The second I stepped inside the store, one of the employees told me to leave my backpack with them. I didn't think I heard it right, so I said, “Excuse me?" And the lady (manager) said, “You’re not allowed to take the backpack inside the store,” and I had to leave it with them. I immediately left the store. Before I left, I told the manager and her two employees that ‘I was not going to leave my work laptop with them.’ I don't even trust leaving it in my car, let alone with them.
So, for those fellow Boeing employees who shop at this bargain store, take your backpack or laptop home before you shop there. Otherwise, shop elsewhere.”
