Stay away from this branch specifically and try not to use the after-hours as well.My debit card ended up blocked by (I assume) the after-hours service. The local branch guaranteed me that wasn't the case. After multiple decline purchases, and strange ATM prompts and denials, I went back again, they guaranteed everything was still fine, all while being super condescending (oh that super specific stuff you need to build your home? Pawn shops! Of course!)In fact, both my cards were blocked. It took calling for hours and reaching out to other people within their phone tree before I got some real help.Avoid the Newport branch. Don't trust their after hours services.Addendum 12/30/2022:Still no cards in the mail. No follow-up calls from anyone at the bank. So, unless I go into the branch and withdraw cash, I can not do card purchases (except where I can fill in the card number myself which doesn't work with anything besides online shopping).As far as I'm concerned, STCU has locked me out of my own accounts.My local branch is the Newport branch, and after how I was treated the last time I was there, I will never step foot in there again. Ive recieved no call from the manager. Ive gottwn no explanation from anyone to reach out and tell me what happened. Beyond their reply that they left a week ago, I've heard NOTHING.So the only way for me to access my money for any non-online purchases (you know, food, gas, etc.) is to drive the 100 mile round trip all the way from Newport to Spokane.Great service STCU! Thanks for making this holiday season so incredibly frustrating and inconvenient!

I have been with STCU since I move here with my family in the early 2000s and they have never failed me. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure I have a positive experience. Kelsey has been a godsend for my mother since my dad died. Thank you so much Kelsey and STCU for everything you do to make the world a better place ❤️

The worst banking experience I have ever had!! I would give them an 1/8th of a star if that was an option.When I had an account I ordered 3 boxes of checks. I waited a while before asking ( figured covid slowed them down) turns out they didn't even order them, I closed the accounts a few days later amd wasn't reimbursed.I tried to cash a check and even though the drive through has a camera if you're not a "member" you have to wait inside because they want you on camera. Really??? The most ridiculous policy I have ever heard of.

I am a small business owner of 17 years, I decided to move business and personal accounts to STCU after I was assured they could offer me the same business needs as my old bank that closed our local branch. First off they refused to give my 17 Year old business with perfect credit a line of credit to replace the one we had, the mobile app is terrible and constantly errors out when trying to mobile deposit from multiple different phones and carriers, They refused to raise the daily limit on the business debit card because apparently no business ever spends more than 3k per day, It has been a terrible experience since day one and has made running my business next to impossible. I am closing all my accounts and going back to my old bank. Thank you STCU for showing me how great I had it where I was.

We've been with STCU for 24 years and they have always provided excellent service. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there is always room for improvement and like all businesses now one must use a telephone tree when you know it's a small CU with people who could just pick up the phone.

It used to be nice place to bank, now it seems the tellers are rude. I am not impressed with the way they are doing businesss. They are definitely not invested in small town banking.

Absolutely terrible customer service. All of the ladies I have "helped" me we're rude and did not answer any of my questions. Would not recommend.

Let's see...I paid off my loan and then they proceeded to deduct money from my checking account anyway. Took almost 2 weeks to get my money back. No "I'm sorry", no interest, no nothing. Very rude customer service reps.
