We used Rainier Overseas Movers to move from New England to Crete Greece. They were clear in communications as well as expectations. The hand off to the local moving company Gosselin in Belgium, was perfection. We will always recommend these companies to anyone making a big move! Thank you very much ?

We used Rainier Overseas Movers to relocate from Canada to the UK. The service provided was excellent and the price was reasonable. We were kept informed and got quick replies from Don about the status of our shipment. We needed to store our goods for a few weeks before delivery, which was done without problems. Overall a very good service, I would use again.

We had a horrible experience with Rainier Overseas Movers for our international move. Our container still hasn’t arrived after 3 months. They keep blaming international shipping issues, which is clearly not the case. Their updates are always vague and unhelpful, often just “we can’t do anything about it.” I wish we had never used their services. Avoid them at all costs!

Rainier Overseas Movers was the US partner for my move from Switzerland to Vermont. After Rainier contacted me to let me know my belongings had arrived in the US, I inquired about storage options and price (twice by email, once by voice mail); I wasn't going to be moving into my new house for two more months and I wanted to make an informed decision about keeping my belongings in storage vs having them delivered to a family member while I waited. I received no information on storage pricing, so I assumed that there would be no charge for this period (when I originally moved to Europe, I received 2 months of free storage, so I thought something similar was happening). The week before the move, I received a large storage bill. When I emailed and called to express my surprise and disappointment, I encountered some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rainier ultimately reduced my storage bill slightly, but did not admit any wrongdoing and threatened to withhold delivery of my belongings until I paid the bill.

Don and Danise made our move from Seattle to Iceland as easy as an international move could be. It was worth every penny to have their positivity and guidance through the whole process. I highly recommend Rainier Overseas Movers!

We use Rainier to relocate from the US to Ireland.
Fantastic service and performance.
Communication with Mark from Rainier was good throughout the process, starting from getting the quote, ironing out the details, coordinating the packing and shipping, and finally shipping from Europe to our house in Ireland.
Not only did they do a truly fantastic job, but they also did it at the best price we were offered.
Highly recommended.

We used Rainier Overseas (and their wonderful agent, Don Arroyo) to ship a container from the US to New Zealand. Our container arrived last month, and thanks to Don's help, patience, and effort, the unpacking process felt like a breeze. As someone who was initially apprehensive about shipping overseas, his professionalism and reliability were truly reassuring. Don kept us informed every step of the way, the process was seamless, and the price stayed true to the initial quote. Should we ever need to move again (hopefully not anytime soon), he's be the first person we call. Thank you, Don, for making what could have been a daunting experience a smooth and stress-free one.

We used Rainier overseas movers to move all our things from Seattle to Australia. They were amazing and I would highly recommend them. They had people come out to give us a quote very quickly and before we knew it we were packed and shipped. They made the whole process very easy for were very responsive with any questions. Fast forward a few months and we have all our belongings in good nick in our new home.

Excellent, personal communication and expert execution! I would use Rainier Movers again.
I moved about 3,600 lbs of furniture and "stuff" from Los Angeles to Hawaii. I got quotes from six carriers - the major national players and two smaller, "boutique" movers. I chose Rainier from these two boutique operations, based on a great recommendation from a colleague AND how well David explained everything. His transparency, willingness and ability to explain the various hand-offs and players involved at every step, and pricing. These conversations gave me confidence David and his network of providers would do my move well.
And they did! The packing crew in LA (I had two locations - furniture in a storage facility, and everything else in my garage) was EXCELLENT. Friendly, great communication, fast, thorough and careful. My major furniture pieces were already wrapped in quilts from my prior move. Dave's crew then wrapped each piece of furniture with ANOTHER layer of that heavy multi-layered paper. I have never had every single piece of furniture individually wrapped.
I also wanted four bulky, heavy, high value items crated, so Dave and his LA provider managed that.
The ocean crossing was much faster than I had expected - only four days on the water. Hawaii movers are all under-staffed, so there are long wait times on this end. Dave's regular outfit was booked over a month out, so he scrambled and found a great local provider which did a great job. My building has awkward access - through the basement parking lot, and up the elevator. The parking lot access and ceiling heights could not accommodate the container so the local crew brought a shuttle truck to literally just move the items from the container parked on the street, down in the garage and to the elevator. They got permits to park the container and their truck, posted signs two days in advance, and everything went off without a hitch.
I have moved many times, and always forget how stressful it is, and how many little details are involved. Dave took all those details off my shoulders and managed them beautifully.

Don Arroyo and his team are just fabulous to work with. Incredibly diligent, efficient, cautious with my belongings and easy to work with. I've worked with several moving companies throughout the country and in Mexico and I would highly recommend Rainer!
