We are required to provide a 'move out' notice to our apartment management 20 days before the lease expiration date. Unfortunately, we were 3 days late in submitting this notice as we nearly forgot about it. While we did receive a notification a month before the deadline, there was no follow-up reminder closer to the date, which led to our oversight. Despite our attempt to negotiate a prorated fee for the 3-day delay, the apartment management insists that we must pay an additional month's rent at the market rate of $2,500 plus a $500 month-to-month fee. While we acknowledge that missing the deadline was our mistake, charging us an entire month's rent for being just 3 days late seems excessive.

This is a fine place to live but I never really received good service. Maintenance was fast but often didn’t fix the problem, so I had to ask them to come back multiple times. I was also told that problems would be addressed but never were (broken lights in appliances, dehumidifier was never brought when there was a leak) Management was patronizing and largely unhelpful across the board. There were multiple instances where I was having problems (accessing mail room, stolen packages where there were security cameras advertised, disruptive neighbors) and was simply brushed off.

I live here almost 9 months and already regretted. If you don’t mind maintenance quality and accountability this is your place. There is just one person setting in the apartment office and looks like if you have a complaint about her or maintenance you just can talk to here. No upper management or any information about who is or are above them. Complaining is dead end road, no matter what.

This was probably the worse apartment I ever stayed out . I’m so happy I moved! The apartment is cheap , they don’t keep up with updates . My son room had water leak , they came with some fans to dry the carpet . Never checked the carpet . Maintenance does repairs half done . The office stays changing people , that don’t know what’s going on . I stayed almost year without signing lease and nobody knew . The grounds of the apartment is never clean or done . Garbage is out of control . The pool never opened the whole time during summer . The hot tub only worked my first year living there . Everything is cheap and badly done .

Not the worst but not great. Lived there for over 3 years. It started pretty well then the experience went downhill. They wanted to raise rent $100 which is way too much for the quality of apartments. Even if you clean the apartment super well upon move out... they will probably charge you all your deposit and more. The hot tub was always closed. Main pro is that it's located in Newcastle and maintenance did a great job at spreading ice melt around the complex before icy days/snowy days.
