Omg!! I am very happy with my haircut ♥️
The service is super friendly, attentive, patient and it shows in my court that they have experience in their work.
The girl who helped me made sure I felt comfortable with the length of my haircut, she constantly asked me if it was the length I wanted and that made me feel super comfortable.
They were super patient, tolerant and understanding of my way of communicating, since English is my second language.
The establishment is clean and welcoming.
They offer you a drink while you wait your turn.
Without hesitation I recommend this place and I wholeheartedly appreciate the excellent service, because my hair is what makes me feel pretty. ♥️?

The barber was very hard to understand and he did not seem to know what I wanted as a haircut. After describing the haircut, he began cutting and it turned out way too short. He had messed up the back, cut the sides too short, and had raised my hair in the front by about an inch or two. The total cut cost about $50 and I tried to redeem it with a $20 texturing powder they sold to me, but I don't have enough hair for it to work well enough. I came back the next day and another barber fixed up the haircut the best they could, which was very nice, however it was too late for the front to be fixed

Been here a few times because it's around the Newcastle area, but unfortunately I've had more awkward experiences than good ones here. Just recently, one of the hair stylists Bri was reckless with how she cut my hair. She constantly turned my chair and was rough with the clippers. The short cut was fine, but she nicked me twice, one on the back of my neck and the other by my ear. Not to mention the last time I was here, I tried the shave and got nicked 4 times. The bigger issue though is that after being so rough, Bri didn't offer the complimentary rinse and hot towel finish. This happened to me once previously (maybe accidentally, not sure), but this time it was plain to see that she hoped I forgot about it just to get me out quicker. That's why I can't recommend Bishops when there's better and cheaper places in Factoria and elsewhere.

I came to Marz needing a haircut, I asked to clean up my look for an upcoming family wedding. I’ve never put much effort into creativity with haircuts or styles, just your standard guy stuff.
I left with a whole new vibe and a hair that I could wear clean, messy or just the average day to day, and Marz even took the time to show me how each would look on me.
We shared some family stories and comedic banter, all while she was expeditiously working with a feather’s touch and impressive attention to detail. We also did a beard trim and wax which didn’t hurt as much as it was worth it. I’ve always been nervous to get my nose waxed but Marz assured me it would be fun. It was!
Overall it was a 10/10 experience and I will be back here again and specifically request you, Marz! You rock!

Service was fantastic, hairdresser (Marz) really listened to me and everything I wanted to do with my hair. Very kind and calm environment, with hairdressers who genuinely care about your look and your feelings. Was nervous going in to cut off over a foot of hair, but walked out feeling great! Marz even gave me tips on how to style my new hair. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back for my next haircut!

I have been in 4 times with 3 different stylists. I have left ever time happy with my haircut. They are very informative and create a friendly environment. Will be going back!
Hair type: I have never grown my hair out. Wanted to try something different. The stylists here have been very good at finding a fit for me. I am happy with the care that is taken in making sure I have a good haircut. Friendly and laid back place.

Friendly and knowledgeable and accommodating! Emma is an artist with her understanding of color and design! I absolutely love the results and my cut,color and style are exactly what I wanted and received! Ask for Emma if you ever want to blend gray roots into the rest of your lengths. Emma nailed it perfectly and took her time to be sure everything was done to perfection! A specialist with color and design!

Bishops is a very disrespectful place with very poor customer service. I have never in my life been treated so badly and I am still wondering how such people are allowed to operate. We had a great experience with an Asian elderly service provider and went in for my son next. He was moving in to college next day and wanted to get a good haircut for him. I booked with Tony and we were about 10 mins late due to traffic and parking. Tony was busy with another customer and took another 5 mins to finish. After he was done the first thing he said looking at us was that we are late and he cannot serve us. Directly refused service. No hello nothing and this is when he was already servicing another customer until 6pm (our time was 545pm) I requested if he can take an exception and he started getting irritated that he has someone coming in now. I was surprised to see him as he is white and the person I wanted to book was the other (super nice Asian). He outrightly refused that there has been any Asian in their place for 3 years. When I mentioned we got a really good cut done 3 weeks before he admitted there is someone very new and is in only on weekends. All this while he was adopting a very rude and irritated demeanour. So I started walking out of the place and he kept saying we are late. I turned back to say he didn't have to be so rude about it and then he just shooed us out of the place and shut the door on our face!! I as really shocked by this experience and my kids were with me at the time. It was such a bad experience I don't know how someone so angry and rude is employed unless the establishment itself has this mindset of pushing customers out of their establishment. I am a resident of the area and just disappointed we have chosen to allow such people in our community I will NEVER EVER set foot in this place again. I believe in basic human etiquette and definitely do not share these values with Bishops. Pathetic.
